VACANCIES IN THE PUBLIC SERVICE— continued.(a) Applications also called outside the Service under section 24.(b) The possession of a Diploma in Public Administration, or approved equivalent, will be regarded as an important

factor when judging efficiency under section 34 of the Public Service Act.(1) The possession of an academic qualification acceptable for membership of the Australian Society of Accountants, or

equivalent Institution, will be regarded as an important factor when judging efficiency under section 34 of the Public ServiceAct.

(m) Leaving Certificate in Science subjects, or approved equivalent, and further experience in Chemistry.(n) Leaving Certificate an advantage, plus a pass in Surveying I at the Perth Technical College, or its equivalent. Some

experience in the construction industry and in irrigation and drainage work an advantage.(o) Progress in studies for admission to the Commonwealth Institute of Valuers will be regarded as an important factor

in assessing efficiency under section 34 of the Public Service Act.(p) Applicants should hold Certificates of Competency in Sanitary Plumbing and Drainage, and preferably have some

practical experience and knowledge of Drawing Office Plumbing Design Practice.(r) The completion or near completion of a Diploma in Engineering and experience in the use of closed circuit television

equipment and experience with chemical grouting equipment desirable.(s) Junior Certificate, with preference for Leaving Certificate. Trade qualification as an Instrument Fitter an advantage.

A broad experience in both mechanical and electrical instruments desirable.(t) Junior Certificate, with English and Mathematics A, essential, and Science subjects desirable. Preference for Leaving

Certificate. Positions located at Merredin and Wongan Hills.(a) Plus special allowance to $7,973.(v) The possession of a University Degree or Diploma in Accountancy or Public Administration (or approved equivalent

qualification) will be regarded as an important factor when judging efficiency under section 34 of the Public Service Act.(x) Degree in Veterinary Science registrable in Western Australia. The level of appointment will depend on the ex-

perience in diagnostic and research pathology of applicants. Some post-graduate experience in a recognised laboratory isessential. Evidence of experience in pathology highly desirable.

Applications are called under section 34 of the Public Service Act, 1904-1966, and are to be addressed to the PublicService Commissioner and should be made on the prescribed form, obtainable from the offices of the various Permanent Headsof Departments.

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to sub-section (1) of section 259 of the Companies Act,1961, a meeting of the creditors of T.B. Simp-son Pty Ltd, will be held at the Conference Room,Palace Hotel, St George's Terrace, Perth, on Mon-day the 10th day of April, 1967, at 10 o'clock inthe forenoon.

The winding up of the company commenced onthe 7th day of February, 1967, and I was appointedliquidator by resolution of the members of theCompany. As the Directors declared that theCompany was unable to pay its debts at the timeof the commencement of the winding up, theliquidation is proceeding as a member's voluntarywinding up.

I have formed the opinion that the company willnot be able to pay or provide for the payment ofits debts in full and the meeting is summoned inorder that the creditors may, if they so wish, ex-ercise their right under subsection (2) of section259 of the Companies Act, 1961, to appoint someperson other than myself to be the liquidator ofthe company for the purpose of winding up theaffairs and distributing the assets of the company.

A Statement of the Assets and Liabilities of thecompany will be laid before the meeting.
