UNIQUE CONCEPT
I find that its interesting how, the show is set in the present, yet its a story being told in the past sense.
Non linear narrative. Also how even though there are 5 main characters,
the show is initially centred around 1 of them. As its of a group of tales of how he came closer to meeting the mother of his kids, hence the title.
REPRESENTATIONS
The show has a good use of stereotypical characters, that form an unusual group of friends which is interesting.
The show represents typical Americans during their late 20’s and it shows how they live and the issues that they deal with.

Comedy – Its a unique comedy that has been compared to the likes of ‘Friends’.
