Housing is one of the basic requirements for human survival. For a shelter less person,

possession of a house brings about a profound change in his existence, endowing him with an

identity, thus integrating him with his immediate social milieu. With a view to meeting the

housing needs of the rural poor, Pradhan Mantri Awass Yojana. It is being implemented as an

independent scheme since 1 January 1996. The Pradhan Mantri Awass Yojana aims at helping

rural people below the poverty-line (BPL) belonging to SCs/STs, freed bonded labourers and non

SC/ST categories in construction of dwelling units and up gradation of existing unserviceable

kutcha houses by providing assistance in the form of full grant.

Mobile Application Modules Description

H/W and S/W requirements:

Mobile phone Android OS preferably 4.0 and above GPS Supportable for geo-coordinates Internet Camera Application used by those beneficiaries whose house has been be sanctioned.

Home screen consists of four modules

Inspection login Beneficiary login FTO Tracking Dashboard Offline Inspection

Beneficiary Login : Beneficiary can inspect his/her own house using this module. Four types of logins are available:-

Using PMAY Registration number Using Mobile Number Using Aadhaar Number Using NREGA Job Card Number

*All/any above Id’s and an active mobile number should be registered/mapped in AwaasSoft database.

User enters login credential according to selected login level (PMAYG registration id, registered mobile number of beneficiary, aadhaar number of beneficiary, NREGA job card number) and he/she can see the status of the house and also can inspect the house at different inspection levels of inspection. Inspection levels are different for all states. In all beneficiary login options mobile number of beneficiary must be registered with PMAYG portal, after login, beneficiary receives a One Time Password (OTP) on his/ her registered mobile number and enters OTP for further processing. For entering correct OTP beneficiary has 3 chances.

After entering correct OTP, application downloads beneficiary details (personal details, order sheet details, financial details and inspection details) as shown below.

Beneficiary uploads house images with time stamp and geo-coordinates (latitude, longitude and accuracy). Beneficiary can capture maximum 3 photos or minimum 1 photo for each level. Beneficiary can see financial details and order sheet details by navigating respective tabs.

Before uploading the images user needs to freeze the house location.

Once the images are uploaded successfully, user is logged out automatically; he/she can login again to see the uploaded images. Images will be verified by block login on AwaasSoft in order to complete the inspection process. Once uploaded, images cannot be edited, and can only be accepted or rejected by Block login.

Offline Inspection

You can save inspect images of house offline and can sync with server whenever you have WIFI connected to your device.

By using option save data in database you can save images in local database of application. You can upload many records at the same time after selecting from below grid view.

Inspector Login

User credentials are same as that of block login in AwaasApp portal presently, after login, respective panchayats and villages are downloaded and user selects a panchayat and a village.

Inspector login has two functionalities:- FTO Tracking Inspection Mode (QR Reader ,Search by location)

After selecting panchayat and village, entire beneficiary under that village has been loaded in the list and inspector officer can ispect that particular beneficiary house.

You can also navigate application using slider options shown in below image. You can apply language (Hindi and English).There are many options available in this slider.

You can download application user manual by using about us option and can also contact with iay.nic.in by using contact us option.

FTO TRACKING:

FTO Tracking is a module used to track the current status of the payment given to user by government.

When you click on FTO number button you can see the entire beneficiaries under this FTO number and status of payment.

QR Reader

Image uploading process is same as explained above QR Reader (Quick response Reader)Users with a camera phone equipped with the correct reader application can scan the image of the QR code to display text, contact information, connect to a wireless network, or open a web page in the cell phone’s browser.

Dashboard

Dashboard is a real-time user interface which shows graphical presentations of the current status of PMAY implementation. User can view the current utilization of total available fund of respective states by selecting particular financial year and State.
