LINK HOLIDAY FOOD COLLECTION - Dec. 7-8, 2019 LINK is an interfaith food pantry serving the needs of our local families in Herndon, Sterling and Ashburn who may not have enough food or the means to buy it. The majority of the people served by LINK are children and senior citizens. St Joseph’s is a longstanding and active participant in LINK. Our parishioner volunteers pack and deliver food, answer phones and help stock this local pantry. The Men’s Society and the Knights of Columbus will be con-ducting a Holiday Food Collection to support LINK on December 7-8. They will accept your donations of non-perishable food items and monetary offerings. LINK will use these donations to provide Holiday food baskets for the hun-dreds of families in our area who might not have enough food this Christmas.

During the entire month of November, the names of our beloved dead will be in the church and will be remem-bered at every Mass. There is an envelope in your enve-lope packet for our beloved dead and there will be extra envelopes in the pews. Kindly put the envelopes with the names of those who have died in the collection basket. “May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.”

RESUMES December 3 & 6

That Man is You! Gives you the opportunity to go deeper in your faith!

TMIY is an interactive, multi-media men’s program focused on the development of authentic male leadership. Each lesson successively considers men in their relation to God, to their

spouse and to their children.

TESTIMONIALS:

TMIY emphasizes the values Catholic men should live up to in this new social media paradigm we are constantly exposed to. I lost sight of what was important. After attending TMIY last year, I am back on track with my faith and Jesus. MT, St. Joseph Parishioner since 1980 I had wanted to change my life with Christ for years but lacked the persistence to stick with it. The men at TMIY encouraged me to have the strength to embrace the Gospel and the love and forgiveness that God has for me and for all of us. CJ, St. Joseph Parishioner since 2016 Come join the Men of our parish in enriching relationships with both Christ and family. All men are invited to attend TMIY (Room 209) Tuesday evenings at 7 p.m OR Friday mornings at 6:30 a.m. For more information contact Jack ([email protected] or Steve ([email protected]).
