MAIN CHARACTERS • Soren: Barn Owl, he is from the forest of tyto; he was snatched
when he was three weeks old by St. Aegolius patrols.• Gylfie: Elf Owl, she is from the desert kingdom of Kunner;
snatched when she was three weeks old by St. Aegolius patrols. • Twilight: Great Gray Owl, he was an orphaned within hours of
hatching.• Digger: Burrowing Owl, also from the desert of Kunner; lost in
desert after attack which his brother was killed by two owls called jatt and jutt.
• Grimble: Boreal Owl, captured as an adult by St.Aegolius patrols and held as a hostage with the promise that his family would be spared.
• Mrs.plithiver: blind snake, she is soren’s family’s nest maid. • Kludd: Barn Owl, older brother of Soren.• Eglantine: Barn Owl, younger sister of Soren.

Settings
• Soren’s home: Soren’s home is a little hole in a pine tree way up high close to the top.
• St. Aegolius Academy for Orphaned Owls: a canyon filled with guards and orphans or at least they say they are orphans.
External Conflict
• The major conflict in the story is that he falls off of his home, and an owl takes him to St. Aegolius academy.
• Soren is also trying too find out who pushed him out of his hollow.
Main Events in Beginning of Story
• 1.Sorens little sister Eglantine is born.• 2.First fur ceremony.• 3.Soren gets snatched.• 4.Meets Gylfie.
Main Event in Middle of Story
• 1. meets Auntie Finny.• 2. Soren learns what moon blinking is.
Conflicts are Solved
• 1. Grimble teaches Gylfie and Soren how to fly so they can get the guardians.
• 2. Soren also while he was in a little crack his size he has a flashback of Kludd pushing him off of the hollow.
Theme of the Book
• The theme of the book would be to “Follow parents rules.” Because if u don’t someone will take you away from your home.
Reaction to Book
• My reaction to the book was that I liked it because it’s adventurous.
Who Should Read This Story?
• I think that people that like adventure should read this book because it is very adventurous.
