Acetic Acid-Induced Writhing Test. This test was conducted according to the description published by Koster et al. [24]. The presence of abdominal contortions induced by an intraperitoneal injection of acetic acid was considered nociceptive behavior, characterized by abdominal muscle contractions followed by stretching of the hind limbs [25, 26].
