WEB PAGE• What is a Web Page?? The definition of web page is a document, typically

written in HTML, which is almost always accessible via HTTP, a protocol that transfers information from the Web server to display in the user's Web browser.

• How is a Web Page useful in the home and business??

In the home or business it is important to have a web page, so you can let people know what your business is all about. In doing this your business will be able to earn more than it spends.

 WEBSITE• What is a Website?? A Website is a location connected to the Internet that

maintains one or more web pages.

• How is a Website useful in the home and business??

The business or home website can be quite intriguing especially when persons visits it as to acquire more knowledge on your business.

 BLOGGING

• What is Blogging?? Blogging is the adding of new material to or

regularly update a blog.

In the home/business blogging helps a person to earn money from home, at work or anywhere possible.

WEB SERVER• What are Web Server?? A web server is a computer system that

processes requests via HTTP, the basic network protocol used to distribute information on the World Wide Web. The term can refer either to the entire system, or specifically to the software that accepts and supervises the HTTP requests.

• How does Web Server help out in the home/business??

Hosting a web server at home is much easier and cheaper than it is at work, a web server can be used to download things and upload things as well.

URL• What is URL?? URL is an acronym for Uniform Resource

Locator and is a reference (an address) to a resource on the Internet. A URL has two main components: Protocol identifier: For the URL http://example.com , the protocol identifier is http . Resource name: For the URLhttp://example.com , the resource name is example.com

• How can a URL help out in the home/business??

When you have a custom URL, you can give people a short, easy-to-remember web address to find your Google+ profile (like google.com/+LarryPage). it will be reassigned based on things like your name. And you may also need to add a few letters or numbers to make it unique to you.

E-COMMERCE• What is E-commerce?? E-commerce (electronic commerce or EC) is the

buying and selling of goods and services, or the transmitting of funds or data, over an electronic network, primarily the Internet. These business transactions occur either business-to-business, business-to-consumer, consumer-to-consumer or consumer-to-business.

 E-LEARNING• What is E-Learning?? Quite simply, e-learning is electronic learning, and

typically this means using a computer to deliver part, or all of a course whether it's in a school, part of your mandatory business training or a full distance learning course.

Advancement and efficiency are extremely important to businesses today, and many organization are turning to e-learning to save money, time, and energy.

 PODCASTING• What is Podcasting?? Podcasts are digital media files (most often

audio, but they can be video as well), which are produced in a series. You can subscribe to a series of files, or podcast, by using a piece of software called a pod catcher. Once you subscribe, your pod catcher periodically checks to see if any new files have been published, and if so, automatically downloads them onto your computer or portable music player for you to listen to or watch, whenever you wish.

EAVESDROPPING• What is Eavesdropping?? Eavesdropping is secretly listening to the private

conversation of others without their consent, as defined by Black's law dictionary. This is commonly thought to be unethical and there is an old adage that "eavesdroppers seldom hear anything good of themselves... eavesdroppers always try to listen to matters that concern them.“

• How is Eavesdropping helpful in the home/business??

In businesses or home eavesdropping can be an advantage or disadvantages, it’s the same thing as the home. A person in the business or home can over hear a conversation which includes them or a person they know so that causes them to eavesdrop.

SURVEILLANCE

• What is Surveillance?? Surveillance is the close observation, especially

of a suspected spy or criminal.

• How can Surveillance be useful in the home/businesses??

Surveillances in a business or home can be protective of your private property, by keeping security cameras, security, motion detector, ect.

HACKING• What is Hacking?? Hacking is the practice of modifying the features of a

system, in order to gain access to another persons private property.

• How can hacking be of use in the home/business??

• Hacking can be an advantage as well as an disadvantage in both businesses and homes, you might have something you don’t want anyone to see but someone being curious hacks your phone or computer seeing it and then showing it to others. The advantage of hacking, your phone or computer password you forgot it to access it you got someone to hack it as most people would say “crack the code.”

VOIP • What is VOIP?? Voice over IP (VoIP) is a methodology and group of

technologies for the delivery of voice communications and multimedia sessions over Internet Protocol (IP) networks, such as the Internet. Other terms commonly associated with VoIP are IP telephony, Internet telephony, broadband telephony, and broadband phone service.

BULLETIN BOARD

• What is Bulletin Board?? A Bulletin Board is a board or wall area on which

bulletins, notices, or displays are put up.

• How does a Bulletin Board help in the home/business??

• Bulletin Board helps a person to remember things the know they will forget later or the next day.
