GRAND KNIGHT’S MESSAGE –March 2012

Charity – Unity – Fraternity – Patriotism

Live your Faith! Dear Brother Knights: First, I want to extend our warm welcome to our 21 new Brothers. We are so glad to have them join us and help us truly live our principle of Charity. We will grow our mission of service to others. I am very excited. Thank you to all my fellow Brothers who assisted in the recruitment campaign to bring us new Knights. It's that beautiful season of Lent again. It's time to get closer to the Lord. Take the opportunity to pray and do good deeds and you will win. The Lord is listening. Knock on the door, say hi. Grab the little black book at church and read the daily 6 minute meditations and as it says "spend some quiet time with the Lord." Also, we are doing a “Cans for Lent” drive for those less fortunate in our community. Bring a can of food or non-perishable item to the First Degree, St Patrick’s Day event, Communion Breakfast, and Lounge visits. If you still want to join our K of C "Why Catholic" group, we are meeting on Wednesday evenings at 7PM in the Enos Hall. We all know our time is precious. Live your faith. In Christ; Mike Canavan, Grand Knight
