VI. Course Description

This course deals with the concepts, theories and principles of Human Resource Management. It covers the roles, importance and scope of human resources in an organization, how it evolves, and the constitutional and legal framework. It discusses also its functions which include job organization, acquisition, maintenance, and development of human resources as well as the trends and issues in human resource management.

VII. General Objectives of the Course

The objective of this course is to make the students know, understand, and be familiar with the concepts and principles of human resource management and to expose them to the latest trends and human related issues from diverse perspectives.
