WHY THE GLOBAL PEACE FAIR ?(or the GPF)

Young people need to understand that being true “global citizens” is not limited to United Nations costumes and having the most number of facebook friends. Global Citizens are concerned and proactive citizens of a world that is growing smaller and smaller everyday. They must realize that beyond the pageantry and festivals around the world, there are challenges that need to be met and overcome, and their youthful idealism, energy and creativity might just be what the world’s most troubled nations need.
