LISMORE PERFORMING ARTS FESTIVAL

Students in the new t shirts made for our debut steel pan drumming performance in

Lismore this week. Congratulations on a great effort from all the students on coming together and ‘wowing’ the audience. And once again a big thank you to all the staff, community members and parents that helped along the way to help make this a reality.

CONGRATULATIONS PAT

For Education Week, schools within our region get to nominate students, staff, community helpers and P&C members for their outstanding contribution to Public Education.

This year Pat was recognised for the extra mile he goes to each and every day to help make learning fun, informative and bringing new ideas to the table, and not just for Goolmangar Public School but for all Students around the region.

Lets take this opportunity to say a big THANK YOU PAT.

Wellbeing Program

Recently our students tried the ‘body scan’ meditation using the ‘Smiling Minds’

app. The majority of our students felt this was so calming and helped re-energise

for the next lesson. We encourage everyone to have a go and just stopping for

five minutes of complete peace. For more information please view the website.

https://www.smilingmind.com.au/

Tim and Pat spent the day trenching to lay pipe to

get water to the green house and chicken coop.

Just in time for summer!

Practice, practice
