Introduction: Google Fiber was launched on February 10, 2010,

under Google Inc. Now, Google Fiber is a separate business under the expanded Alphabet Inc., the parent entity of Google.

The service was first introduced to the Kansas City metropolitan area  including 20 Kansas City area suburbs within the first 3 years. 

Now it is available in few more places but not yet in India

What is Google fiber: Google Fiber is not just an internet connectivity service. It is

actually a telecommunications service that includes phone and TV services.

Google has announced superfast internet in Kanas City, but that's not all: it's also unveiling Fiber TV, which includes DVR, apps, and voice search. It constitutes a complete rethinking of how we watch TV, and, if successful, could change the living room forever

Why Google fiber should be preferred: Google Fiber has NO DATA CAP. So unlike other

subscriptions which put a limit to your Internet use, you pay only for the speed category you want to subscribe to.

You will be able to manage your Google Fiber subscription through your Google Account. Talk about having a one-stop-shop for all things Google and internet!

Google Fiber, usually, has a free plan. So prospective subscribers can subscribe to wholly free internet connectivity services.

Why no Google fiber in India: We all are extremely eager to have a test of Google Fiber in India, but sadly

there is no official announcement for the launch date. There are lots of reasons for this :Fewer Consumers : To be frank, India has very less consumer base to pay 3 to 4 times what the population is paying for the broadband connection. Licensing Issues : The license to implement the Google Fiber could be the reason for the price hike of the broadband rates. As per my thought Indian Government won’t let Google Fiber enter without the license and let go the opportunity of grabbing Billions of Dollar.Partnership With Indian ISP : Another option to start the services in India is to do a partnership with Indian ISP like BSNL, instead of getting the license.Not Yet Implemented Throughout United States Of America : Google Fiber was first launched in the US and they are still yet to implement it through the country. Logically Google’s first priority will be to cover the US completely with Google Fiber before moving to other countries.

Overall, Google Fiber leaves a great impact on communication by internet because it increases the rate at which communication occurs, increases the condition of that communication, and allows users of the service to communicate developing ideas in a collaborative setting.
