• With Champaign-Urbana already being a top candidate, we need the University of Illinois’ help.
• We want the University to submit a formal nomination as an institution for the Google Fiber Project
• We can express the importance of this project to the University through the use of social media.

Currently, Google is accepting Requests for Information (RFI's) from interested communities. Our Facebook Group is growing and we are continuing to expand using even more online resources such as having an online petition using a host like Petitionvoice.com. Hopefully, our cause will become large enough to become noticed by the University President and Board. Eventually, we hope to see the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign petition to receive the honor of hosting Google Fiber.
