One of his tribes rituals is that when a boy turns 15 he must undergo a certain task to enter into manhood. They need to walk across hot coals barefoot.

Trig was concerned about how he would do this so he came up with a plan. He decided he would repeat one phrase over an over while he was completing his task. The statement was “SOH CAH TOA”, (which is what he planned to do when finished). Using this strategy he was successful and entered into manhood.
