LAMINATED TIMBERSLaminated timber is a multi-layered engineered product providing addedstrength and stability as well as improving product service life, particularly inthe more unstable timbers. A&H and G&A also hold BM Trada Forest Products Chain of CustodyCertificates that allows the company to handle timbers sourced undervarious national certification schemes such as:

MTCS (Malaysian Timber Council)

TFT (Tropical Forest Trust) and other emerging local schemes

All timbers are bought within the EUTR Legislation of March 2013.

Our timbers can be graded and certified to bM trada certificationand are reassessed every 12 months.

SUPPLIER AUDITING

For generations Gilmour & Aitken have done their own auditing anddue diligence on the legality and sustainability of the supply chainsand will incorporate any existing national standards of emergingcertification schemes

Gilmour & Aitken are signatories to the Timer Trade FederationsResponsible Purchasing Policy (RRP). The company has committedto performing due diligence on all purchases certified andnon-certified by professionally risk rating all materials
