    The process is fairly straightforward with a GD being held first and thenan Extempore & Interview.

    Group Discussion

    The GD topics being asked to different batches are a good mix ofgeneral and economics oriented.

    The GD lasts for 12-15 minutes and the number of participants in theGD is 12-15. The panel comprised 5 members.

    Before GD starts, the panel announces the instructions to follow duringthe GD process. The instructions are not to make noise and, etc. Panel

    does not play any role once the GD starts. When one minute is left forthe 15 minutes, the panel rings a bell to inform that you left with onlyone minute. So its time for the group to conclude.

    During GD one of the panelist note down what you said and he can askquestions during interview (if required).

    GD Topics:

    a. Is globalization is the fear for India culture.b. Economics reforms makes richer to rich people

    and poorer to poorer peoplec. B-School education is only affordable to rich

    peopled. Cine stars are best applicants for politics.

    Extempore:

    The interview process starts with a 1-1.5 min extempore. Panel initially

    throws a topic to think for 10 sec followed by 60-90 sec delivery. If thecandidate is not at all comfortable with the topic, he/she can ask forthe change. It depends on the panel to change the topic or not, butgenerally they changed it. In Extempore the panel is more interestedto see the thought process of the candidate and communication skills.They do ask questions from what the candidate has said in extempore.

    Interview Feedback:

    There were two panels and each panel has 4-5 members and eachinterviews lasted for 06-12 minutes.

    The interview questioning had a very few questions from Academicsand they asked one or two fundamental questions from the freshersonly. A significant number of questions pertained to Statement ofpurpose and the specialization opted by the candidate. There werequestions related to Work Experience also. They do check the presentlabel of understanding of Current / Business Affairs of the candidate.The panel was very friendly.

    The questions on Career Goal, specific reasons to pursue MBA, etc.were asked to all the candidates with great depth. Similarly the depthof questions on personal profile was not very much.

    There were few questions in connection with the forms filled by thecandidate.

    the markete. Who are your competitors?f. How will you establish your product in the market.

    g. Tell me 10 uses of this pen.h. What are the various types of marketing

    strategies?

    i. How can sell your product in the market?j. What are the application of Linear Algebra
