Thank you for attending 2018 Indy VegFest! Whether you’re an omnivore, vegetarian or vegan, we are happy to have you here and hope that you have a great time today at the festival.

Indy VegFest will expose you to tools that will help you to move toward a plant-based diet, or vegan lifestyle.

We have restaurants and food innovators sampling tasty vegan food. We have chefs leading interactive cooking demonstrations. We have speakers talking about making more ethical food choices, and much more. We hope that you find these tools useful, and we are here to answer your questions!

We hope that you enjoy today’s event, and meet others that care about animals, the environment and wellness for all. We hope that you will connect with old friends, make new friends and consider joining us at our other events and educational activities throughout the year.

Speciesism“Modern farms are struggling to keep a secret. Most of the animals used for food in the United States are raised in giant, bizarre ‘factory farms,’ hidden deep in remote areas of the countryside. Speciesism: The Movie director Mark Devries set out to investigate. The documentary takes viewers on a sometimes funny, sometimes frightening adventure, crawling through the bushes that hide these factories, flying in airplanes above their toxic ‘manure lagoons,’ and coming face-to-face with their owners.”
