Welcome to the Fred Ranch Angus and Charolais Bull Sale. We appreciate the opportunity toshowcase this bull offering. Thank you for your interest in our program and our annual production sale. We at Fred Ranch have witnessed our registered genetics selling to many different herds over the42 years of raising registered cattle. Many have been long time repeat customers, knowing that it’snot the fluff that works but the dedication to raise great genetic cattle in both breeds. Jamie’s familywas the first Charolais breeders in Nebraska in 1957 and our Angus cattle journey began in 1976. These great disposition cattle are from an excellent AI program. In the Charolais breed the FredRanch raised an ET bull that was a potential breeder for 10 years who sired a son in 2008 that wasraised by a South Dakota seed stalk breeder that was the top weaning and yearling sire in the fall2012 and spring 2013 sire summary. This bull showed negative birth weight EPD- very unusual ofthe bulls in the summary. These pedigrees trickled back to the bloodlines in 1957. Dr. Brett Andrews, DVM.Burwell, NE, is in charge of semen evaluation and scrotalmeasurements.These bulls are functional, sound, easy fleshing bulls with depthand capacity that show natural muscling and a lot of growthpotential given weight per day of age.
