    Founded in 2010, Sahyadri EnvironmentalAwareness Organisation (SEAO) is Indias one of thefast growing non-governmental organisation (NGO),engaged in environmental conservation, awareness,education and research. We always welcome theinput, participation and suggestions of our membersregarding the organization. This is your community.We encourage you to get involved!

    To become a new member of the SEAO or to renewyour membership, submit this form by mail or post.For new members, the membership year is a twelvemonth period that begins immediately after theeffective date on the signed membership agreement.We encourage you to join or renew membership forimmediate access to membership benefits and to be apart of our family. Membership of SEAO is open toindividuals, corporate houses, institutions and NGOs

    in India and abroad.

    SEAOs Vision:Sahyadri Environmental Awareness Organisation(SEAO) aims to be one of the important informationcenters in the sphere of environmental sciences toconserve and achieve the goals of sustainabledevelopment.

    SEAOs Mission:The world is changing is very fast due to technologicaladvancement and developmental activities are causinga rapid degradation of pristine natural resources. Ourmission is To provide a unique platform for thesurvivals of this earth to improve and protect theirown environment.

    SEAOs Motto:Our motto is Save Sahyadri for Survival and it isselected as a representative sample of the rich andpristine biodiversity present throughout the world. It

    calls for the conservation of valuable natural heritageof our mother earth.

    Membership and Dues:Membership Categories: The six categories ofmembership are: Ordinary, guardian, Life, honorary,Emeritus and student.1. Ordinary Member: The member who has agreesto pay time to time ` 100/- as annual fees is called an

    ordinary member.

    2. Guardian Member: A member who pays ` 500/-per annum is called as guardian member. Thesemembers shall not take part into the election ofworking committee.3. Life Member: These are the individuals who havemade a substantial, one-time financial contribution to

    SEAO equal to at least ` 1000/- thereafter need not pay

    annual dues.4. Honorary Members: These are individuals whohave donated the property or valuable things to thesociety and approved by the board members.5. Emeritus Members: These members are thenominated representatives approved by the ExecutiveCommittee. They are scientists, have ten years of

    association with SEAO.6. Student Members: These are individuals who arecurrently full-time students at recognizedschool/college/universities working toward graduate

    or undergraduate degrees and has to pay ` 100/-.

    Student membership is limited to 5 years and requiresevidence of full-time enrollment.

    Membership Term and Termination:SEAOs membership is a long term engagement as agroup of family. If a member voluntarily withdraws oris no longer working with the responsibilities in societyor a member who acts against the principles and

    policies of the society can be terminated (temporary orpermanent) by his membership and such a decisionmade during annual general meeting will be final.

    Rights and Privileges of Member:1. Members have right to cast his vote2. Members have right to check the secret record ofthe society3. Members have the right to express his vies in thegeneral body meeting4. A member have right to make or project anyresolution before the general body meetings

    Duties and Responsibilities of SEAO

    Members/Representatives:1. To respect and provide input into SEAOs policies,programs and initiatives

    2. To promote environmental conservation, peace,health, equality, human rights, social development andeducational access in the country. .3. To work his/her best efforts to spread the messageof environmental conservation and objectives of SEAOto make local/regional organization.4. To work for the service of humanity, as a bornduty to solve the environmental issues.5. To work for the local/regional environmentalsociety network creation for the share of knowledgeand proper utilization of resources.

    6. To provide advice, guidance and support inregards to issues pertaining to the field ofenvironmental sustainable development.7. To organize and facilitate conferences, seminars,peace march and educational programs dealing withenvironmental conservation.8. To engage in other activities related to thefurthering or obtaining the goals, objectives andmission of the organization and as the need arises.
