the project running by compiling the newsletter, monitoring discussions, inviting

new members, and taking care of our existing members’ community needs.

and/or the music industry, either via formal training or industry exposure (or both). Mentors are there to inspire other

members, give constructive criticism, and otherwise help the rest of the community

grow through their learning.

Movers are passionate amateurs who embrace their instrument and thus have gathered considerable knowledge in their field and

genre(s). They stand to benefit from Mentors’ advice, but can also give advice to each other,

and to the Explorers.

Beginners looking for a supportive community to ignite their musical

passion. Explorers post their works primarily to gain constructive

feedback and advice on how to improve, and will benefit from the support

and encouragement of the mentors, movers, and listeners.

Music-lovers who, while not playing music, are passionate about hearing new music and

engaging with a musical community. Are in the collective

to learn, to help share and support, and perhaps to “get LiT”

and become an Explorer.

Members are asked to stay in one category for at least SIX MONTHS before asking to change.
