Calling ALL Young Adults!! The Salt & Light and RISE young

adult groups are hosting an

annual young adult retreat on

April 29 at the Sisters of the

Presentation (2360 Carter Rd.

Dubuque, IA 52001). The

theme of this year’s retreat is “Returning Love for Love: Sharing the

Great Gift We’ve Been Given.” We will focus on how our life in

the Church leads us into authentic community and service. The

day will include mass, a light breakfast, lunch, prayer, talks,

discussion, and socializing. Our speakers will be Fr. Aaron Junge,

Anita Sullivan, and Mark Schmidt. Check in is at 7:45 am and the

day will wrap up by 3:00 pm. Cost is $10. Register at http://

In Memory of Ron & Marge Larson blue bags

were donated as a tangible reminder to participate in our

parish food drive. On the last weekend of each month, you are invited to take a bag from the back of church, fill it with non-perishable food items and bring it back to

church the first weekend of the month. The food donated will be transported to one of our community

food banks. Please join in our parish effort to respond to the growing

need of those facing hunger in our community.

This Year marks the 100 anniversary of the apparitions of our

Lady of Fatima to three children between May and October 1917. There are events going on over the next few months to celebrate this important apparition of Our Lady. The first event is a talk by Msgr. Miller following the First Saturday Mass @ Nativity Church on Saturday, May 6th. Mass is at 8 am, the talk will start at 9 am.
