Fitness Industry OverviewOver one third of the American population is considered clinically obese and the fitness industry continues to benefit from the populations growing awareness of health issues. Together with the importance of exercise in maintaining good health and relieving stress, the fitness and exercise industry has evolved with a variety of options. Motivation is the main key to success in this journey and group fitness workouts can provide that motivation. Fitness enthusiasts are aware that working out can provide the necessary tools to improve quality of life and promote better health, this is why the demand for fitness solutions for busy individuals requires technological innovations and alternate exercise options.With everyones busy lives, people can miss their fitness classes and motivation to stay fit can definitely decline, this is where these three trends come in; shorter more intense workouts, video/online or mobile workouts, and wearable monitoring devices.
