FINAL PLACEMENT REPORT
PGDM, PGDM-IB and PGDM-HRMBATCH OF 2019-21
Carrying forward a legacy of excellence, Management Development Institute, Gurgaon is
honoured to announce the successful completion of the Final Placement Process for the
Batch of 2019-21. The batch consists of 239 students from PGDM, 119 from PGDM-IB and
59 students from PGDM-HRM.
With an immensely capable pool of candidates, MDI has proven to be the institute of
choice for newly minted talent. This is clearly reflected in the fact that a massive 128
organizations recruited students from MDI across a multitude of domains. The diverse
talent pool attracted 64 new recruiters to offer esteemed roles. The average salary also saw
an increase of 4.98% from the previous year.
Adapting to the changing times, the Final Placement Process was conducted virtually for
the first time.
This endeavour would not have been the success that it was without the constant and
steadfast support of the esteemed faculty at MDI and the illustrious alumni who constantly
keep furthering the reputation of the institution though their talent and hard work.
MDI Gurgaon thanks its recruiters for their trust, and hopes to build a symbiotic association
with them in the upcoming academic years. MDI also pledges to continue to foster its
students to be the leaders of tomorrow and bring about progress wherever they go.

Industry stalwarts Asian Paints, Coca-Cola, Godrej, ITC Limited, Johnson and Johnson,L'Oréal, Marico, Pidilite, and Reckitt restored their faith in MDI once again. E-Commercegiants like Flipkart, MakeMyTrip and PhonePe offered coveted roles. First time recruiterslike Diageo, MagicBricks, Sony Pictures Networks and Unacademy showed faith in ourtalent pool.
Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase and Co. and Nomura offered investment banking roles.
Other Finance roles were offered by recruiters like Bank of America, D. E. Shaw & Co., Max
Life Insurance and SBI Capital Markets. Retail banks such as Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, IDFC
FIRST Bank and Yes Bank strengthened their association with MDI.

Human Resources
IT and OperationsIndustry top-liners like Amazon, Flipkart and RPG Group continued to bestow their faith in
the talent at MDI Gurgaon.
Industry leaders like Boston Consulting Group, Deloitte India, Deloitte USI, KPMG, PwC US
Advisory and PwC India recruited from MDI with a renewed vigour. Industry stalwarts like
Amazon, Hero Motocorp and Tech Mahindra offered coveted General Management roles.
Witnessing continued faith from the industry, MDI hosted leaders like Adani Group, Aditya
Birla Group, EY, Godrej, ITC Limited, KPMG and L'Oréal. First time recruiters like Airbnb,
BYJU’S, D. E. Shaw and UnitedHealth Group boosted MDI’s reputation as a premier
institute for Human Resource Management.
