New Addition to Chamber Fundraiser The 18th annual Angola area Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing was held Thursday, August 25 at Glendarin Hills Golf Club. In addition to being a great time this is the chamber’s largest non-dues revenue generator. The proceeds raised help us meet our budget requirements to provide chamber services to the community and our members. WLKI was on hand to broadcast all the action! In addition to the golf event which featured a $10,000 hole in one opportunity and three other smaller hole in one prizes was the golf after party. Party on the Patio began at 6:00pm featuring a great dinner under the tent at Glendarin Hills with entertainment provided by Mark Garr and a silent auction featuring great items from local businesses, professional sports memorabilia and some very special items provided by the chamber which held wide appeal to locals and visitors alike. We hope to make the expanded golf after party a new tradition for this event.

Chamber welcomes Congressman Stutzman The Angola Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed Congressman Marlin Stutzman to the annual Chamber Day in the Park on June 8th. The chamber’s Executive Director Todd Gorman, Mayor Dick Hickman and Brett Briscoe of WLKI spoke on the air with Con-gressman Stutzman about issues such as local agri-business, job creation in Indiana’s 3rd Congressional District and the Cameron Memorial Community Hos-pital expansion and renovation project. Congressman Stutzman is confident that the USDA loan for the pro-ject will move forward as budget issues are resolved. In addition, the 200+ event guests enjoyed sunshine, a wonderful breeze and a great lunch served by mem-bers of the Angola Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and other chamber volunteers. A huge THANK YOU goes out to all who volunteered and attended as guests.

Rep. Stutzman speaks with George Gilbert (FFSB) and Don Marquardt (Timbers)
