CMA Music Festival has been captivating Country Music fans for nearly 40 years with star-studded concerts and the opportu- nity to get up-close-and-persona l with their favorite celebrities. 2010 saw its biggest and best crowds ever with estimated daily attendance throughout the festiva l - including LP Field, Riverfront, the Family, Fun and Sports Zones and Exhibit Ha ll - up 16% to 65,000. More than 700,000 consumer impressions were generated for the CMA’s corporate partners over the four-day festival. The impact of this year’s festival was more significant than ever due to the floods that recently devas- tated the city. More than $23 million in direct visitor spending was generated by the festival. CMA Music Festiva l partners, including the ABC Television Network, Chevrolet, The Coca-Cola Company and ConAgra/Manwich, a lso stepped up to aid in the cause with more than $125k in independent donations to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. The Summer got even hotter with “CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night To Rock.” This 3-hour specia l, which featured performances by Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley, Kid Rock, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and more, drew more than 6 million viewers and was the third highest showing for the network that week when it aired Sept. 1 on ABC.

The party doesn’t stop after the awards are handed out... more than 2,500 guests are expected to attend the invite-only CMA Awards post-party. For the first-time ever, the CMA will host a silent auction where these VIP guests can bid on one-of-a-kind experiences and autographed items to benefit music education programs in Metro Nashville Public Schools through Keep The Music Playing.

The Official 2010 CMA Awards Program Book commemorates “Country Music’s Biggest Night ™” and Country Music’s brightest stars. This limited edition collectible, available at the CMA Awards and via cmawards.com, is a perennial fan favorite!

Taping the day after the Awards, The CMA Presents: “A Country Christmas,” will feature Country Music’s biggest stars performing their favorite holiday classics and standards and sharing their most cherished holiday memories.

CMA Awards Week is a MUST for both the fan and the industry alike! Held Nov. 9-10 in Nashville, the invitation-only CMA Marketing Summit showcases the CMA’s corporate partners, industry executives and Country Music artists through behind-the-scenes tours, panels and case studies.

The night when Country takes center stage - the CMA Awards represent the pinnacle of achievement in the Country Music industry and is the one night of the year most anticipated by the artists and fans alike. Hosted by Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley, nominees including Miranda Lambert and Lady Antebellum are expected to take part in this year’s celebration.
