Born in India in 1943, Syed Thajudeen, a Malaysian artist, has played an important role in the arts and cultural history of Malaysia. His works portray his deep and all-encompassing affection for his roots, homeland, upbringing, nature, culture and heritage.

Syed Thajudeen’s artworks are greatly influenced by cave paintings, literature, music, sculptures and philosophies. We can usually recognize the distinctive style of Syed Thajudeen’s works as he is well known for his painting techniques and the usage of vivid colours.

Soka Gakkai Malaysia (SGM) is proud to present “Splendours of Love — The Art of Syed Thajudeen”, showcasing about 32 of his artworks from 1994 until 2017. The exhibition comprises 4 major categories from the artist’s iconic series, which includes 1) Merdeka, 2) Culture · Heritage, 3) Spirituality and 4) Thoughts of Creation.

Splendours of Love exhibition showcases Syed’s passion, love and contribution towards his homeland, nature, culture and tradition as well as art. SGM hopes that viewers will experience and be inspired by the unique paintings of Syed Thajudeen, as well as ponder about the importance of historical and cultural understanding.

1943年出生于印度的马来西亚资深艺术家赛·达祖丁，

在马来西亚的文化艺术发展史上，扮演着举足轻重的

角色。他的艺术作品充分展现了他对故乡、祖国、原生

家庭、自然与文化遗产的深厚情感。

赛·达祖丁的作品深受洞穴壁画、文学、音乐、雕塑和

哲学的影响。他的创作以独特的绘画技巧及鲜明的色

彩而广为人知，我们可以轻易地认出其独特的风格。

马来西亚创价学会（SGM）很荣幸能主办“崇爱礼赞

—赛·达祖丁个展”，展示赛氏从1994年至2018年间

所创作约32件的作品。本展 览根据艺术家的标志性

系列分成四大类别，包括1）独立、2）文化·遗产、3）精

神性，以及4）创作思维。

“崇爱礼赞”展呈现了艺术家的热情与情感，以及他

对祖国、自然、文化与艺术所作出的贡献。SGM希望

参观者透过欣赏赛·达祖丁独特的艺术作品，从中获

得启迪，并深入思索有关学习历史与文化的重要性。
