Bauer Media

The media institution i have chosen to distribute my media product is Bauer Media. Bauer Media is Europe’s largest privately owned publishing Group. The Group is a worldwide media empire with over 300 magazines in 15 countries, as well as online, TV and radio stations. Bauer media reaches an audience of 19 million adults in the UK

Titles Their titles include: Heat Grazia FHM Closer Kerrang

Why Bauer? My design work was based upon the design of

Keerang and Q magazines as they are of a similar genre to mine. Bauer distribute both of these titles, both of them are very successful magazines and have been for a number of years.

Their other productions draw in the biggest and best celebrities to promote and be in the magazine. To put my magazine on the map i will need celebrities to be on my production to draw in thier audiences and make the magazine known and therefore sell.

Why My Magzine? My magazine is unique and different with a clear

target market and genre. Their men's entertainment magazines are very

limited in genre as they are mainly rock. With my magazine being of the indie/alternative genre it is different from any other of their productions. This will broaden their target market and eventually make their profit margin higher.

My magazine has very unique images and design with synergy throughout through colour schemes and clean cut lines and shapes to keep structure.
