« My role as a Chocolate Sommelier is to discover, taste and select the best chocolates, from around the world. This allows me to offer them in tastings, along or alongside drinks or even a meal. I apply the same curiosity to the products I will match with chocolate in my tastings, whether they be Champagne, cheese or a meal cooked by a Chef. Beyond the very product, I like going to visit the people and areas associated with them, cocoa plantations or vineyards for example. That’s how in 2013, I met Peruvian cocoa growers and Cognac winemakers in the same month. »

AN AWAKENING OF EMOTIONS « After my tastings, I fill notebooks with comments and charts made of objective criteria. But my job, my passion, is much more than that; I’m here to convey not only my knowledge, but also sensory experience and pleasure. Telling a story about chocolate, plunging my clients into the heart of a cocoa plantation, bringing back the souvenir of a homemade hot chocolate, then surprising them with an unexpected pairing like a buckwheat praliné or salt’n peper chocolate piece…. These are many possibilities to escape that I can offer during a tasting. »

A fun and playful tasting itinerary, composed of 3 to 5 steps, according to your schedule : 1- Aroma Game, to stimulate the smell and help in the tasting 2- Blind Tasting, to learn your palate and taste like real professionals 3- Chocolate Quizz, to test your knowledges on chocolate, its origins and its history 4- Surprise Tasting, to dupe your senses 5- Chocolate Bar Workshop, to put your hands in chocolate!

An initiation to taste, made gastronomic discoveries, will lead your guests to taste the most surprising aperitive chocolates of France and Europe. They will be paired with 4 wines. Guided by a Chocolate Sommelier and by a quizz on the of chocolate through Europe, the participants will thus travel thansks to their palate!

A Cheesemonger and a Chocolate Expert will guide you through the discovery of a «  buffet gourmand », that will easily replace a lunch or a dinner. Four to five pairings, based on regional specialties and seasonal cheeses will delight the beginners as the connoisseurs.

Proposition : Itinerary during the « Happy Distilleries » -Exhibition of images of cocoa plantations arranged in the vineyard -Rasting cocoa in front of the still in the distillery -Tasting of 3 chocolate and cognac pairings
