Basics


Procedure

� Analysis of open quantities (orders and sheduling agreements)

by 11 sort methods

� according to quantity in unit

� according to value in target-currency

� mixed analysis of quantity and value

� Consideration of open Invoices

� analysis in a time-matrix by day, week or month

� Retrograde calculation of open deliveries and open invoices is

possible

� as a separate sum by each sort criteria

� calculated back as an open schedule line

� Special treatment of delivery-orders (LZM/TAM)


Storage of Datasets

� Storage of all open quantities in a Dataset

� user-defined number of several datasets

� at a defined time (backround process)

� Analysis

� of the actual open quantities

� a selectable Dataset (Data stored in the past)

� Comparison of two Datasets to display the differences,

optional with the retrograde calculation of

deliveries and invoices created between the creation of

the 2 sets

Datasets can be stored at any time by a planned background task. All open quantities of orders and scheduling agreements will bestored in a dataset. The number of datasets is only restricted by tablespace and can be customized. It is possible to have sets per day, per week or per month.

Comparison

Analysis of Datasets

Every single stored dataset can be analyzed by the interface of the Bensberg-component. It is possible to analyze the actual data, but this is not recommended because it will influence the performance negatively.

Also you can start a comparison of 2 datasets to get the differences between this 2 times.

The material-text is restricted up to 18 characters.

The display- and filter-Icon is only available, if there is more than 1 unit

The calculation of the value is based on the price-information of the corresponding sales-document. If necessary the value will be changed to the target-currency using the current exchange rate.

The calculation of the weight is based on the weight-information of the corresponding sales-document.

The buttons provides an input help-dialog

20 time-columns (+ backlog + total) are available, 5 are visible. The arrow-buttons moves the columns to the right and left.

Customer quantities means the order-quantity, based on the delivery date

Delivery quantities means the confirmed-quantity, based on the goods issue date

Change of sort criteria By clicking the sort-button a selection-screen will be shown to define a new sort criteria.

New sort criteria is customer plant/unloading point

Old sort criteria is customer / material

Open Invoices (Deliveries with goods issue posting, without invoice)

The option 'Open invoices' activates a separate line with the quantities/values of goods issue posted deliveries without an invoice

By clicking this field detailed information of the quantities/values are provided

Quantity and value mixed (Quantity is master)

A mixed display of quantities and values can be activated.

If 'Display quantities' is activated, the quantities are the leading, the values are the depending information

Only for the leading information a detailed display is available

A mixed display of quantities and values can be activated.

If 'Display value' is activated, the values are the leading, the quantities are the depending information

Only for the leading information a detailed display is available

Display of stock and customer material

By activating the respective checkbox the actual stock of a material and the customer material-number will be displayed.

'Multiple' means that there is more than 1 customer material number for 1 existing material

Comparison

Analysis of Datasets

Up to now, always 1 dataset was analyzed by the Bensberg-component. But there is also the possibility to compare 2 datasets in order to get the differences between the time of storage.


Selection of the Datasets

For comparison exactly 2 datasets have to be marked. The button 'Comparison' starts the analysis.

Important: Own activities in the sales-department like creation of a delivery including posting of goods issue will influence the result.


Result of comparision

Post goods issues between the storage-time of the 2 sets will influence the result


Selection of the Datasets

Another special comparison of 2 datasets is provided. It has to be started with the button 'Comparison without GI-deliveries' after marking of the datasets.

In this case, all own activities in the sales-department that will influence the result, will be calculated back.


Result of comparision

Post goods issues between the storage-time of the 2 sets will be calculated back
