Hip Hop started as a form of blackexpression in the Bronx, NY and morphed into a global, multi-culturalphenomenon. This couphenomenon. This course intro-duces students to hip hop culture, and examines some of the major concepts and political issues that shape the culture. This course surveys authors from the islands of the Caribbean.
