TODAY’S WORLD IS THE WORLD OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY. IN THE SECTOR OF MEDICINE AND HOSPITAL IT CAN BE SAID THAT IT IS TOTALLY BASED ON THE EUIPMENT WHOSE ARE INVENTED BY SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY.BUT MOST OF THEM ARE OPERATED BY ELECTRICITY.

ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT:- THEY ARE NOTHING BUT ANYTHING THAT CAN BE OPERATED BY APPLYING ELECTRICITY

HOSPITAL EUIPMENT

While the point comes over the equipment used basically for hospitically purpose , most of them are made up of such technology that can be operate only by electricity ,and power storable devices .like x-ray generator ,c-t scan, sonography, electrocardiogram machine, Electrosurgical Units Stress Systems Diagnostic Ultrasounds Surgical Lights Anaesthesia Machines, Defibrillators Patient Monitors, ultrasound and MRImachines, PET . And many more.

X-RAY:- . DISCOVERED BY WILLIAM CROOKS IN 1869-1875.

. It is based on free electron theory. . When rays comes from x-ray tube they are penetrated by the hard part of human body and show the image of that part of body from where the rays are being reflected . But if any bone is broken in the body the rays will not reflected and the image of that part of body will never seen.

3.ultrasound:-

Transducer probe - probe that sends and receives the sound waves Central processing unit (CPU) - computer that does all of the

calculations and contains the electrical power supplies for itself and the transducer probe

Transducer pulse controls - changes the amplitude, frequency and duration of the pulses emitted from the transducer probe

Display - displays the image from the ultrasound data processed by the CPU

Keyboard/cursor - inputs data and takes measurements from the display Disk storage device (hard, floppy, CD) - stores the acquired images Printer - prints the image from the displayed data

4. Heart-lung machines Heart-lung machines are frequently used in heart surgery because it

is difficult or even impossible to operate on the beating heart. HLM are frequently used to assist in the induction of total body 

hypothermia, a state in which the body can be maintained for several hours without perfusion (blood flow). At normal body temperature, if the heart is stopped, permanent brain damage occurs in three to four minutes and death follows short thereafter.

IN HOSPITALS AS PREVIOUSLY INCLUDED THERE A LOT OF EQUIPMENTS THAT CAN BE OPERATE ONLY BY THE ELECTRICITY.IT IS NOT HARD AND FAST THAT EVERY SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THE WORKING PRINCIPLES AND OPERATION OF THESE ELECTRICITY BUT IT SHOULD BE.
