The educative, multicultural and social events of European dental students is going to start in Belgrade this week

All the preparations for the 51st meet-ing and Silver Jubilee Anniversary of the EDSA are almost done in the historical Balkan city of Belgrade, Serbia.

The LOC chairwoman Miss Maja Mickovic DQG�KHU�WHDP�PHPEHUV�DUH�VDWLV¿HG�ZLWK�all the preparations. The team is still working very hard. Some of the LOC members are welcoming the participants at the Belgrade International Airport.

The Executive Committee members and WKH�RI¿FHUV�RI�('6$�LV�JUDWHIXO�IRU�DOO�WKH�efforts of the LOC members.

The 51st EDSA meeting’s sessions and presentations will take place from 3 to 4 april and the Silver Jubilee Anniversary will follow the meeting.

The day started with the 3rd session of the EDSA meeting.

Colgate and Curaprox held presentations about their oral health care activities. Dr. Andrew Bartram, Volunteer work of-¿FHU�JDYH�WKH�VWDUW�VLJQ�IRU�WKH�SUHSDUD-tion of AMCHI 2013.

The celeberations of Silver Jubilee $QQLYHUVDU\�VWDUWHG�RI¿FLDOO\�WRGD\��7KH�special guest of this event is Dr. Jean-/XF�%XHQR��+H�LV�WKH�¿UVW�SUHVLGHQW�DQG�one of the founders of EDSA.

On 3rd of april the executive committee PHPEHUV�DQG�RI¿FHUV�RI�('6$�YLVLWHG�the Student Conference of Serbian Uni-versities. The event was held because of the national day of students. The president of EDSA, Hassib Kamell held a small chat with the Serbian Minister of (GXFDWLRQ�3URI��GU�äDUNR�2EUDGRYLü�

Prof. dr. Damien Walmsley presented ADEE meeting which will be held in Birmingham this august and warmly welcomed all EDSA members to take part at this amazing event dedicated to e-Learning.

Emily Stanworth & Berk Çelikkol elected as Alumni and Matthieu Wipf as Honor-ary Lifetime Member. EDSA congratulate them.

We also congratulate our Turkish del-egates that Istanbul is elected to host the 55th EDSA’s meeting in the spring of 2015.

EDSA thanks the stars of Belgrade for one of the “Royal” event in the history of EDSA

HRH Crown Prince Alexander II and HRH Crown Princess Katherine invited the EDSA

representatives in the White Palace of Belgrade for the closing ceremony of the

Silver Jubilee Anniversary of EDSA.

On saturday the 6th of april the participants of EDSA events in Belgrade enjoyed a guided lunch cruise in the rivers of Sava and Danube.

The closing ceremony of Silver Jubilee Anniversary consisted of a reception in the White Palace on the invitation of HRH Crown Prince Alexander II and HRH Crown Princess Katherine. (http://www.royalfamily.org)
