Message It is with genuine pleasure that I express my sincerest greetings to our barrio people as we celebrate our Christmas Festival and Annual Barrio Fiesta. The dual celebration is a “God given” opportunity to assess how we have been living as Christians and sons of God. Such also is the most perfect time to reflect on the countless graces God has bestowed upon us, likewise thank Him for His unending love and guidance. Let these joyous twin events remind us of our proven and tested cooperation, unity and resourcefulness in the pursuit for a progressive barrio through the years. By this celebration that we dedicate to our patron Saint San Bartolome, may our good Lord shower us with more of these blessings and keep our barrio a better place for everyone. With the great honor and pleasure, let me express my warmest greetings o our barangaymates and sicerest welcome to our returning “KALUGARANS”, visitors, and friends in this year’s edition of the 2011 Batchelor East Fiesta and Christmas Festivities. It is with great feelings to chair such occasion like fiesta. I consider my acceptance as a challenge and honor to my leadership to prove that good leaders can spring above the ordinary. Moreover, the merrymaking our barrio fiesta awakens everyone to join in bringing out one;s talent. This Christmas Festival marks an event to work with the different leaders of the sectors of the society and civic-spirited citizens of the barangay as well as Balikbayans both from near and far who contributed much to success of this significant and memorable affair. It is indeed, a valued tradition which has become a part of our cultural heritage and thanksgiving to our Almighty God. This year’s Fiesta Theme: “Timpuyog, Ayat ken Kapia; Balligi Ti Panagdur-as”, aptly embodies the common noble aspiration and teamwork of the people of Eastern Batchelor for a better, more progressive barangay. Move on, Go, Go, Go…..
