PRINCIPLE OF "ADCA" OPERATION
WHO CAN USE ‘ADCA’?
HOW THE SAVINGS ARE AFFECTED?
ADCA, a sensor based controller that Automatically switches the FAN motor situated on the top of the Cooling Tower ON/OFF, with respect to the temperature ofthe water. This temperature is sensed with a RTD sensor fitted onto the water tank below the cooling tower.
A Cooling Tower works on the principle of forced Fan Cooling(Incuced Draft).The water in the cooling tower is made to flow with a lot of resistance (thru fiberpacks/fills). During that flow the Fan motor sucks the heat out thereby cooling the water to maximum of 1-2 degrees below the external ambient temperature. Afterthe water has cooled to this temperature, the Fan motor continues to run uselessly, as further cooling of water is not possible. It is at this point that ADCA stops theFan motor and restarts only after the temperature of water has increased.
Any Industry using a Cooling Tower for any application, of any Make, of any Capacity, Internally or Externally mounted, with D.O.L or Star Delta Starter Director Gear driven Fan, etc.Our clients include from : Pharma, Chemical, Plastic, Foundaries, Agro, FMCG, Centrallised Air Conditioning / Refrigeration, Textiles,

The Fan motor runs for the required time only.
