On March 22nd, I returned home from one of my greatest adventures yet; I traveled with a group to China, where we took a River Cruise through the Three Gorges on the Yangtze River, saw the beloved Panda at the Chingqing Zoo, met the farmer who unearthed the Terricotta Warriors (8th wonder of the world) in Xi’an - was able to view all three pits of the Terra-cotta Warriors protecting the emperors tomb, and we even conquered the Great Wall of China in Beijing. It is said, “Only after you climb the wall on your own two feet are you “someone”. When you do, you are a hero or a heroine”

On this trip we will visit Prague, and see the astronomical clock. Completed in 1410, this clock is a standing piece of history. During World War II, the clock was nearly destroyed by Nazi fire. The townspeople are credited with heroic efforts in saving most of the parts. It was gradually renovated until 1948. According to local legend, the city will suffer if the clock is neglected, and its good operation is placed in jeopardy.
