About the case of the arrestedanarchists in Nea Filadelfeia(Northern Athens - Greece)Information about the arrest of fiveanarchists on Tuesday noon, April 30th,

the criminal proceedings against them, and the hunger/thirst strike of comradeDimitris Hadjivasiliadis.

On Tuesday, April 30th, at around 4pm,anarchists Yannis Naxakis and GrigorisSarafoudis were arrested on Dekeleiasavenue in the district of Nea Filadelfeia, asthey were coming out of a cafeteria.

At the same time, a large police forcestormed the caf and caught the anarchistfugitives Argyris Ntalios who tried to breakout of the kettle and Fivos Harisis-Poulos.Both comrades had arrest warrants pendingagainst them since mid-February 2013 (afterthe double robbery in VelventosKozani and

the incarceration of anarchists Andreas-Dimitris Bourzoukos, Dimitris Politis, NikosRomanos and Yannis Michailidis).

Anarchist Dimitris Hadjivasiliadis was alsoarrested inside the same cafeteria in NeaFiladelfeia.

All five were transferred to the anti-terrorismservice on the 12th floor of the Athenspolice headquarters. The two comrades thatwere caught out on the street, as well as thetwo that were wanted by the authorities

encountered the violence of statist dogs inthe anti-terrorist office. The fifth comradewas forced to stand for twelve hours hand-cuffed tightly behind his back what offi-cially is considered torture and when hewas taken into a cell (the white cells of the12th floor), he remained handcuffed forseveral hours.

The same evening, the Greek security forceput out a report that accused all of them ofresisting arrest and giving false testimony because the five anarchists refused to give

fingerprints, profiles or DNA samples, whichwere ultimately taken by force. In addition,Naxakis, Sarafoudis and Hadjivasiliadis werecharged with harbouring fugitives.

On Wednesday noon, May 1st,the arrestees were all transferredto Evelpidon courts, where themedia crows were lurking, andwere met with the comradeshostility. The comrades stood

before prosecutor and interrogatorwithout any formal indictment and(for some) without being allowedto meet with a defense lawyer inadvance that would also bepresent in the hearing, whatperhaps occurred for the first timein the history of similar cases. The judges applied their usualtactic to postpone the preliminaryhearing for two days regardless ofthe arrestees wishes. Ntalios,Harisis, Naxakis and Sarafoudis

refused to make any statement. On the other hand, Hadjivasiliadisdemanded that he be heardimmediately with the presence ofa defense lawyer. His demandwas dismissed, so the comradestated that he has denied foodand water already from themoment of his arrest, and he goeson hunger/thirst strike for as longas he is locked up in the whitecells of the antiterrorism torturers.Lastly, he held the judges respon-

sible for his prolonged custody onthe 12th floor of the Athenspolice headquarters, where thecops were attempting only tomanufacture an accusatory briefagainst the three anarchists forwhom no warrants were outstand-ing in order to ask for their pretrialincarceration.

On Wednesday evening, preven-tive detention warrants wereexecuted against the two ex-fugitives, and Fivos Harisis andArgyris Ntalios were transferred toKoridallos prison.

All revolutions have failed? Perhaps. Butrebellion for good cause is self-justifying a good in itself. Rebellion transforms slavesinto human beings, if only for an hour.Edward Abbey

You can be the most pleasant, easy-going,kind-hearted person, but it really doesntmatter to the normal members of Society:the followers, those who are scared and

hostile towards anybody they see asdifferent from what they perceive to beacceptable or decent. Wearing differentlycut clothes or having a weird haircut isenough to risk the ire of the good peopleit seems, without even mentioningpossessing different manners orperspectives counter to the mainstream. If you have ideas that challenge the statusquo, and youre determined to committhem to experience, be ready for theiranger and grudges. With narrow minds andlow horizons, the submissive crowd is the

eyes, ears and mouths of repression;Grovelling conformists, who, -when they arenot looking out for terrorists andcriminals - are busy sniffing and snitchingout any of those who dont go through lifelike one of a herd of sheep.

Sheep who scrabble for money, lie, cheatand back-stab to get what they want, dominate other people when they can, andbeg for protection and mercy from theauthorities. Neighbours, communities, and citizens; mostly just more words for

those who fill the streets with theirxenophobia, nationalism and hypocrisy. Those who respect social mediocrity andfawn to power deserve my contempt.Their world must go.

    About the arrests...continued:

On Thursday, May 2nd, Ntalios, Harisis,Naxakis and Sarafoudis were charged inpast robbery cases on the basis offindings from DNA samples that wereforcibly taken by them. Additionally, anappellate judge who handles such casesissued preventive detention warrantsagainst Yannis Naxakis and GrigorisSarafoudis. An indictment was presentedto all five arrested in Nea Filadelfeia, including the accusation of membershipinto a criminal organization with a view tocommitting robbery, in accordance withthe Greek antiterrorist law, withoutexhibiting any direct evidence of premedi-tation or even intent, other than someorange juices served on the cafeteriatable

Meanwhile, on Thursday, the cops stageda psychological war on Hadjivasiliadis tomake him stop the strike. They broughtwater bottles inside the cell, repeatedlyoffered him food and water, and threat-ened him that he would stay there formany more days. Hadjivasiliadis and hislawyer insisted on his right to medicalexamination. A doctor came in at night, and assured him that there was noimmediate danger to him at this stage buthis condition could deteriorate anymoment. The doctor also told the screwsto leave the transom window of the cellsdoor open, to help the striker breathemore efficiently.

On Friday morning, May 3rd, the fiveanarchists were brought to Evelpidoncourts once again, where only a fewcomrades and relatives were gathered insolidarity. Four of the accused insistedupon their refusal to make any statement. Then Ntalios and Harisis read a text insolidarity to striker Hadjivasiliadis, declar-ing that he is being held without anysubstantial evidence whatsoever againsthim. The judges had no basis to presscriminal organization charges against the

arrestees and set bail conditions insteadfor all five of them.

Nevertheless, Dimitris Hadjivasiliadis wasthe only one to be released, and thusstopped his three-day hunger and thirststrike.

Argyris Ntalios and Fivos Harisis weretaken back to Koridallos. The SolidarityFund for imprisoned and persecutedfighters (Greece) released their prisonaddress:

    Trial updates

    CCF, 3rd trial updates

Session 44.This session began with tensionsince in the previous days thedetainment of a comrade-memberof the CCF and another accusedcomrade was extended for 6 moremonths. With this decision of thecouncil of judges, the comrade-member of the Conspiracy will

complete 36 months held onremand when the limit of detain-ment without being sentenced is18 months.

In the tension caused, participatedmany comrades of the CCF whoturned towards the judges, tellingthem to abandon their democraticfaade and the rhetoric of polite-ness, since they are servants ofthe system and eternal enemies ofthem. Just before that the judges

claimed to not know anything andthat they cannot comment on theircolleagues decision. Against thisrecital of humanity and hypocrisy,a comrade of the CCF said:

We do no expect anything fromyou besides long term sentenceswhich you will impose on us. Butdo not pretend to be sensitivebecause you are not convincinganyone. There is a war betweenus and we will not call a truce

    even for a moment.

While the other comrade of theCCF whose detainment wasextended for 6 more months

In the meantime, Yannis Naxakisand Grigoris Sarafoudis were stillheld as suspects in bank robberycase, awaiting further proceedingin the city of Larissa. According tomainstream media, these twoanarchists were brought before aninterrogator on Saturday, May 4th.They are said to be remanded andmoved to Koridallos prison.

totalling 36 months, reminded that ayear ago when he was in the hospitalon hunger strike, again then the specialinterrogator renewed his detainmentfor 12 more months a day before hewas going to be released. The trial wasinterrupted because of the tension andcontinued with the testimonies ofwitnesses for the case of the parcelbombs by the CCF.

Employees of courier companies and anemployee from the Swiss embassytestified. The latter mentioned thatwhen the parcel initially arrived shethought it was suspicious, but finallythe consul of the embassy received itand opened it in the outside area of thebuilding.

Then she, from a distance, realized thatthere was a smell of sulphur in the airand as the consul told her, when he

opened the parcel there was an ignitionand a large flame popped out of theparcel. In their statements the com-rades of the Conspiracy mentioned tothe reasons of their choice of targetingthe Swiss embassy, referring to theimprisoned comrade Marco Camenish(who has been in prison for 20 years)as well as the three anarchists (Sylvia,Billy, Costa) who were arrested backthen in Switzerland charged with tryingto blow up the offices of IBM [specifi-cally a nano-technology lab under

construction]. The trial was adjournedtill Tuesday April 30th.

Session 45This session included prosecutionwitnesses for the parcel bomb case.Amongst them appeared an employeeof a courier company who had recog-nized some of the accused as sendersof the parcels. Finally, during hertestimony she implied that a large partof her testimony as well as the recogni-tions, are created by the anti-terrorist

    force.

In a statement of his, a comrade of theConspiracy stressed that The CCFdoes not care about the penal conse-quences and the decision of the court. But it is important to reveal the meth-ods of the antiterrorist force as a legacyof knowledge and as a protectionmound for the new comrades.

Also, he added, Lets not forget that inthis trial there have been accused also

individuals who have none neithercould have had any relation with theConspiracy.

To a question by the prosecutor if theCCF cares about the acquittal of the

rest of the accused, the comrade was clear.the acquittal of the rest of the comrades, who are indeed innocent, is a job for theirlawyers. We are not lawyers. But we want -and we will- to preserve history and thehonour of the organization.

The rest of the witnesses were couriers whounwillingly had carried parcel bombs.

Session 43.This session was postponed because of anillness of one of the judges.

Session 42.In this session, amongst the other prosecu-tion witnesses, appeared also a cop of theantiterrorist force. This specific cop stated that he serves in thedepartment against the anarchists, causingtension in the court room. In his testimony headded that he carried on him photos of someof those wanted for the CCF (to help him in

locating them) and stressed that he tookorders directly from the headquarters of theantiterrorist force.During the examination of the rest of thewitnesses, at some point the prosecutorstated that it seems from the attitude of thecomrades of the Conspiracy, shows that theyare indifferent about the charges, since asthey themselves stress they take the respon-sibility for the actions of the CCF and speakof the continuation and intensification of theanarchist urban guerilla.

Session 41,This session began with the testimony of anappointed advocate. Let us note here thatmany comrades of the CCF because of theirrefusal of any legal representation they haveappointed advocates, since according to thelegislation if the accused refuse to have anadvocate, then the court itself appoints onefor them. The appointed advocate thereforetestified that a few days ago there was aburglary in his work office and the unknownburglars took from him documents concerningthe case of the CCF without stealing any-

thing else of value from him. There was tension in the court room andeventually the appointed advocates left andthe trial was adjourned until the next session.

Session 40.The whole session was about examiningwitnesses who either were owners of houseswhich the CCF rented out as safe-houses, ortheir identity info was found on fake identitycards. During the recognition-snitching of thecomrades of the Conspiracy by the prosecu-tion witnesses, it was impressive that a

comrade of the CCF was recognised as atenant, with a fake id card, of a safehouse, atthe time that he was in prison. It is character-istic as it was proven by the juridical proce-dure, that almost all the safe-houses of theConspiracy which have been discovered so

far, were not declared to the taxoffice so that it is difficult to trackthem and cross check the fakeinformation. The witnesses thatfollowed were called to recognizethe comrades if they were thesame people who set up policeblocks in order to copy theiridentity card info.

It is reminded that the comradesof the CCF would disguisethemselves and pretend to becops carrying out fake stop andchecks in order to copy realidentity information and use themon fake id cards in order for themto be convincing and of existingpeople.

    CCF, 4th trial starts

Session 1.5th April 2013: One more trial for

the actions of the CCF began atKoridallos prisons.

Besides the members of theConspiracy accused in the samecase are also Dimitris Politis,Giannis Mihailidis, GiorgosKaragiannidis, AlexandrosMitrousias, Kostas Sakkas andStella Antoniou (who are alsoaccused in the third trial which istaking place as well) andKostandina Karakatsani and

Panagiotis Masouras.Theofilos Mavropoulos read acommon statement of the now tenmembers of the CCF, after whichall members of the organizationleft the room.

As I have stated in a previouscourt and in older public texts, Ihave been next to the comradesof the CCF as a solidariananarchist, without however beinga member of the Conspiracy. From

the first moment of my arrest afterthe shoot out with the cops inPefki, the comrades of the Con-spiracy stood next to me likebrothers. Inside prison we sharedcommon worries, tensions andforged our steel passion forliberation through our commonescape attempt in December2011. Today for me the CCF is aninseparable piece of my thought,my desires and my personalmutiny for anarchy.

This is why as of today, here inyour court, I state that I join theCCF and share together with theimprisoned and non arrestedmembers the endless course tothe anarchist insurrection. Partici-

pating now in the Conspiracy, I will reada collective statement for this trial. All ofus, the members of the CCF, want toclarify some things. In this trial, besides us who have takenthe responsibility for our participation andsupport of the Conspiracy, all otheraccused do not have, neither have anyrelation with the charges attributed tothem.

They never were, neither could ever bemembers of the Conspiracy. An ocean of disagreements, perceptionsand choices divides us

The CCF and FAI is an internationalnetwork of anarchists of praxiswho stand against the enemy with thecertainty of those who play it all ornothing and refuse the proof of inno-cence and legal mitigations.

The Conspiracy and the Informal Anar-

chist Federation through their hundreds ofattacks express the black anarchy whichsets fire to the silence of the many andcowardice of the reformists. All the charges in your indictments are apiece of the anarchist history and thearmed course of the Conspiracy throughthe social desert of mass subjugation. It is our compass in the unmappedunknown of the anarchist insurrection. It is the unique moment where theorymeets practice. It is there where the law dies and

anarchy is born.It is there where the sounds of theexplosions and the gun shots break thecalmness of the crowd. These moments are our moments. Thesehistory is our history.A history which cannot be put on trial, neither finishes inside the court room.We are the gasoline, the gun powder, thedetonator, the bullet, the gun.The only thing you will get from us is war.The Conspiracy is, was, itself. This is our Anarchy.

G.Mihailidis read a common statement ofhis and D.Politis and then left the proce-dure.Give us a copy, asked the chairman, this statement is not for you, answeredD.Politis, while the cops were cuffingthem.

The statement:We state that: We refuse to participatein the procedure of the court, not onlybecause it is a mean of the state to

demean and bend the anarchist struggle, not only because its function aims at therespite of anarchist action, but mainlybecause we do not recognize anyinstitutional representative of the bour-

geois democracy to judge people. As anarchist revolutionaries we standhostile against the bourgeios justicewhich sends people to the rot of impris-onment in order to defend the criminallawful order of capitalism. Also, wesupport the anarchist revolutionary warin every one of its forms. We are part of the violent and guerilla

action and will defend it as an insepa-rable part of the struggle.

    Letter from anarchistprisoner Andreas-Dimitris Bourzoukos

A.D. Bourzoukos is one of the 4 anar-chist comrades arrested on 1st February2013 following the double robberycarried out in Velvents

It wasnt quite dawn yetBut I have never accepted defeat

25 minutes past midday. The last time Ihad a look at the time. Behind us apatrol car and in the van my two com-rades, the hostage and I. Only a fewminutes earlier our emotions werecompletely different. For an instant, everything seemed to be perfectly allright, until they arrested our comrade inthe ambulance. All of a sudden we lostheart but in spite of this we remained asmuch lucid as we could, and in this waywe managed to ensure our comradesescape.

Lets go back to the picture of thebeginning: the three of us along with thehostage in the van and an accidentalencounter (actually it was not at all

accidental because the alarm had beenraised in all the surrounding villages)with a patrol car. In the last minutes ofour freedom the countdown had alreadystarted. What we said to each other inthe van is not relevant to our story, whatis relevant is our final decision. Wewouldnt have fired and put the doctorslife in danger. But it was our only choiceat that moment. However the onlyweapon we had in those conditions wasour passion for freedom. And we used itas best as we could. After a chase in the

streets of Veria, just like in a film, we gotfinally trapped by a patrol passing thereby chance, in a dead end road. It ispointless to tell the rest of this storyonce again.

The only thing Id like to clarify isthe part concerning torture, as thiswas quite a big thing. I know thatin society the image of someonewho got beaten up can generatefear, compassion or doubts. Butthis is not the case with uscomrades. I also want to say thatthe State intentionally allowed ourphotos be made public, and theydid so with the intent to terrorizethose who might think to do whatwe did. Perhaps it was a mistakedue to hurry and the fact that anyoperation of the Anti-terrorismSquad is done almost automati-cally. Be that as it is, I dont wantto concentrate on this now.Instead, Id like to shortly talkabout the thoughts that crossedmy mind during the time we werebeaten up.

I never felt like a victim and ofcourse I dont want that othersconsider me as such. During thosefour hours of continuous beatingone of the things I was thinkingabout was the possible scenarioson the end the cowardly andbully pigs had in mind. Neither fearnor pain, just anger. In spite ofhow much truth can hurt, you justtake someone by the hair and putthem on their knees. While thebeating was going on withoutstopping I recalled all the yearswhen I had chosen to clash withthis rotten system. All my choicesand thoughts became flesh andbones. Perhaps one single minutewith my hands tied would havebeen enough. Perhaps the torturewas just a proof confirming howthe system is rotten. But lets talk about money now,

the money that flows abundantly(including during these times ofcrisis) in banks, public offices andall kinds of capital investment (likeCosco). This is the blood ofcapitalism.

My refusal to become yet anotherwell-oiled clog of the system isone of the many reasons why Idecided to carry out a bankrobbery (personally I call it expro-priation). I mean Ive never wantedto be another pedestrian on thisearth, one who has a normal joband a normal life. I didnt takemuch to understand that workaims at exploiting the human beingfor the sake of Capital, of theconcentration of capital in thehands of few, which doesnt take

much to show its side effects. At thatpoint I asked myself some questions:were fraud and corruption leading thesystem to crisis isolated cases or is thecrisis itself a pre-arranged plan thatserves to achieve yet more profits? Wasthe crash of the bank system due tolending or was it a capitalist trick formore concentration of capital, for aneven bigger capitalization?Surely we are facing an unprecedented

crisis in capitalist reality and surely thecrisis was preceded by the crash of thebank system. But we are talking abouttwo sides of the same counterfeit coin.Capitalism couldnt exist without the banksystem nor would exist one of the mostimportant means of capital concentration. As the State was called in to fill up banksafes when the crash of the bank systemwas imminent, so banks were called in tostrengthen investments and pave the wayto a new capitalization of the banks

immediately after the collapse of theState machinery. A vicious circle thatserves to spare death to moribundcapitalism.

Looking at the brief history of Greece inthe European Union and at its economiccollapse I can only interpret it as some-thing that was planned in advance, bothGreeces collapse and that of otherEuropean countries hit by the crisis. AsGreece joined the euro zone with acreative logistics (as Greek logistics has

been called), prime minister Simitis talkedabout a wonderful era and presentedGreece as a strong country, in constantdevelopment, just like any other EU state. And at that time the middle class hopedin the advent of the capitalist heaven. But this ended with the 2008 crisis, themark of the capitalist system, and thebeginning of collapse. What followed wasonce again creative logistics, this timeintroduced by Giorgios Papandreu so asGreece could benefit of financial supportmechanisms (IMF-ECB). And then we

came where we are today, to the totalselling off of peoples lives and theelimination of human dignity. Of coursethis goes hand in hand with low-costinvestments and opportunities for theplunder of nature, as they are doingtoday in several places.

Lived experiences and the unbearablepressure imposed on society are suffi-cient to demonstrate the dirty face ofcapitalism in all its clarity. I recognize myaction as expropriation. To me the real

thieves are those who administer bankexecutive bodies and the state apparatus. An obvious assistant of the crisis of thesystem is repression, be it generalized oraimed at an objective, and repression is

    5

meant to terrorize and debilitate thewhole society. Its main target is the wideanarchist-subversive spectre, which oftenacts as detonator and catalyst forinsurrection, tensions and the anger thatis increasingly spreading in differentsocial sectors.

The paradox of the repressive politics ofthe State can be seen in the way it also

strikes other social sectors that resist asit describes them as illegal and terroristpeople who only want destruction. Anexample of this is the spasmodic reactionof the State after the events of Skouries. The massive fire that totally destroyedthe equipment of the gold mines wasquickly labelled as terrorist attack. It is afact I welcome and Im on the side ofthose who realized it. The only possibledialogue with a multinational that wantsto destroy and plunder nature for itsprofits sake is pure and hard attack. I

acknowledge the courage of the peoplewho opted for direct action and took theirlives in their hands. They caused fatalinjury to both the El Dorado enterpriseand the State. This is also the reasonwhy on the following day the entirevillage of Skouries was literally inundatedwith forces of order, which promptlyraided all the houses of the village. Thismethod reminds of civil war and showsthe totalitarianism of the State, whichturned the village into a war zone. Ofcourse they also talked of the involve-

ment of terrorist anarchists in this attack.Since the beginning the media hastenedto locate the terrorists who gave instruc-tions for the attack. Media tactics arewell-known: denounce, terrorize and vilifyalways following the guidelines of themessenger in charge, the Security of TheState, the Anti-terrorism Squad or thegovernment itself. Authentic workers ofoppression and submission are digginggraves deep enough to allow everyonein so that the repressive arm cancontinue its work and the judiciary mafia

    can bury everything when resistanceoccurs.

In this way the delirium of the media(Goebbels-style propaganda) also set offimmediately after our arrest. Perfect stufffor the news bulletins of terror and thescreenwriters of the anti-terrorism fiction.I cant help recognizing a clear politicalline adopted by the media when withpomposity and sensationalism they talkedabout our certain participation in otheractions besides the robbery. Using a

tactic similar to that employed in Italy inthe mid-nineties to strike the anarchists(ORAI case), the Greek state is trying torepress all forms of resistance.

It was easy to imagine what wasto happen in the days following myarrest. Some special prosecutor incharge of terrorism-related cases(can he be named Mokkas?)would summon me on the basis ofempty evidence, apart form theconjectures of the Antiterrorism, and point at me as a member ofsome organization. Confirmation of

this didnt take long to come.I was summoned by the special

investigation judge (in fact hescalled Mokkas), who included mein the revolutionary organizationConspiracy of Cells of Fire. Ofcourse I recognize the actions ofthe CCF and its members asrevolutionary, but this doesntprevent me from saying that Ivegot nothing to do with this organi-zation. Ive never been a memberof it because of essential differ-

ences in both projectuality and thegeneral perception of society. Bymaking me a member of the CCFthe State can easily increase mysentence and consequently theyears I should spent in prison. ButI think this is just putting all in thesame bag, a flagrant grouping thatautomatically suppresses anypolitical attitude of a fighter.

The price of self-determinationis never low, and in same cases

    it is incredibly expensive.

Certainly the trajectory to revolu-tion and anarchy cannot becovered with rose petals, but it isnot the only trajectory either, nomatter what the current situationis like. Our means are well-knownand need constant development, and the range of choices we havein our armoury is wide enough. Ithink that any revolutionary has tohave the necessary acuteness and

lucidity to choose the mostadequate weapons according tothe conditions. The road toresistance presents many aspectsand we need a multiform struggle. It can be a poster calling for astrike, the occupation of somestate-owned building, arson on abank, an explosive attack on somestructure of the State, expropria-tion of the money belonging to theState: the goal is still the same,i.e. on the one hand to strike the

structures and functions ofcapitalism, on the other hand tospread the means, practices andconceptions of struggle foranarchy, for freedom.

Im in a society very much varied and Ialways struggle for myself, my comrades, the definitive destruction of the systemand the total collapse of the existent. This does not mean that I will stopcriticizing those who deserve my critiquebecause they are responsible formaintaining and reproducing a rottenand oppressing system with theirtolerance and indifference.

This revolution must be violent, even ifviolence is not right in itself. It would beabsurd to hope that the privileged onesrecognize the suffering and injusticecaused by their privileges and that theydecide to voluntarily renounce them.Violence emerges from inside us and itis the only worthwhile response to thedecay and misery generated by thesystem. The radicalization of society isobvious nowadays. The historicallyimportant question is: where is this

polarisation heading to? A tangibleexample of this tension can be seen inthe growing percentage of votes gainedby Golden Dawn [Neo-Nazi politicalparty] during the elections, and therecurrent episodes of racist attacks inthe centre of Athens. Clearly this is asuperficial extreme position because itlacks conscience. Presenting itself as analleged anti-system party Golden Dawnhas managed to recuperate most of theanger of some social sectors.Needless to say, Im not a supporter of

the theory of the extremes, and I dontconsider Golden Dawn as anti-system. Itis even too clear to me that they areindeed part of the system and also aweapon of the system. This is the reasonwhy Golden Dawn shouldnt attract lessattention than it deserves.

We will organize for a multiform andlasting struggle to destroy work and itsfoundation of oppressive relations, andwill do this through conscious expropria-tion of capitalist wealth with the aim of

strengthening and supporting thestruggle. We will continue on the road ofdirect action and total attack on thecapitalist system. By constantly commu-nicating and stirring up the anarchist-subversive environment as well as widersocial sectors we can spread anarchistrelations and self-management of ourlives. By being constantly present in thestreets and in wild street struggles weform our conscience and fighting soul, and violence spreads in the struggle. No: molotov bottles and barricades are

not steps necessary to climb higherand eventually dedicate oneself to gasbottles, bombs and armed struggle.Instead, they constitute an inseparablepart of the struggle itself. One com-

pletes the other. Street struggle is asmuch necessary as is night sabotagecarried out with all means against themachinery of the State. Armed struggle isone of the expressions of the fight, anindispensable expression that has tosupport the wider struggles of the move-ment and be supported by the latter. Anysabotage separated from the struggles ofthe movement and wider claims risks topass through history in low profile, as if itwas an unimportant event, and finally beerased.

Lets leave an indelible imprint in history. The moment has come, lets makerevolution possible and destroy plutoc-racy, for anarchy.

I give you all my anarchist and brotherlysolidarity following the attack you got froma pseudo-nihilist asshole. Theres nocensorship when one decides not topublish a text that attacks a prisoner whilethe investigation on him is still ongoing.

It must be known that in Italy there is noanti-judicial controversy. There are onlyassholes playing the same game asrepression.

On April 17 2013 two secret agents came

Manolada: Workersdemand pay, GoldenDawn open fire(Greece)

200 workers (almost all of them fromBangladesh) went to the offices of theircompany in the region of Manolada(Peloponnese) to ask for six months ofback wages. They were blocked by armedsecurity staff, paid by the boss to defendhis propriety and himself. Faced with acrowd insistently asking for what wastheirs, the security reacted by shooting

and wounding at least 34 people. Itseems that Golden Dawn is implied in thisstory and the government is helping themto cover up the facts. Thousands ofmigrants are enslaved and often black-mailed because they dont have docu-ments and risk deportation. An interna-tional boycott of the products, especiallystrawberries, coming from this bloodyregion has been launched with the cry ofBoycott Manoladas Strawberries!

    Mayday build up

for anti-G8 (UK)Anti-capitalists have been gearingup for the protests against the G8Summit with Mayday actionsacross the country. The focus wason Primark and other businessesprofiting from the global slavelabour system which led to thedeath of 700 people inBangladesh. There were angryprotests in central London,Hackney, Lewisham, Birmingham,

Brighton and Bristol, with the clearmessage going out that thedisaster was not an accident butthe inevitable consequence of thecallous capitalist system.

The anti-G8 activities will beginon the weekend of 8-9 June, withworkshops and skillshares inpreparation for the #J11 CarnivalAgainst Capitalism on 11/6.There will be an anti-militaristdemo on 12/6 and a No Borders

RadioAzone: Wires ofthe telephone line andADSL found cut (Italy)

    From RadioAzione:

As I was updating the blog of RadioAzioneyesterday afternoon, I found that theinternet connection was no longer there.Similarly the telephone line was notworking. Nothing strange, apparently, astechnology is subjected to this kind offaults (besides many others, or rather it istechnology itself the main fault). Ipromptly called the responsible for theADSL and telephone contract and theysaid that everything was all right to them. After repeating that it was not all right, they sent an engineer this morning. He

checked the cabin in the street (whichcontains the telephone connections of allthe inhabitants of the area) and found itout that a wire had been cut notdisconnected but cut

The door of the cabin had notbeen forced

Among hundreds of users, why didthey cut the wire of my connec-tion? If someone had meant todamage the cabin they wouldnthave cut just one wire but all ofthem or most of them; and theywould have forced the door of thecabin instead of opening it with a

    key.

I dont think it was an accident orsomething that happened bychance, considering the air youbreathe in the city in this period.Meantime we have found backthe Ariannes thread, and thewritten and live radio counter-information is continuing. Wehope well be able to celebrate aswe did in the last year thanks toPier Luigi Vigna (former anti-mafia

prosecutor ) and AntonioManganelli* (national chief police, former chief police of Naples, orrather former chief of those whoquite likely cut the wire ofRadioAzione) reconfirming thatit will be our laughter that willbury you!

    Update aboutanarchist prisonersNicola and Alfredo

(Italy)24th April 2013 As preliminaryinvestigations came to an end onMarch 11 2013, Nicola andAlfredo will go on trial for 280bis(attack with purposes of terror-ism), a proceeding also linked tothe wounding of Ansaldo Nuclearemanager Roberto Adinolfi, whosecase (270bis - Subversiveassociation) remains open for thetwo comrades plus another one.

No date has been fixed for thepreliminary hearing for 280bis, asthe prosecution has not yet

submitted the transcripts of the missingenvironment bugging. After two delaysrequested by the court, these transcriptsshould be ready by June 5 (it seems thatthe experts cant understand or transcribeNeapolitan dialect, which had sounded soclear to the judges from Genoa when itwas used to corroborate the charges, according to the arrogant methods alwaysemployed to interpret environment bug-ging.)

As concerns the results of the examina-tions carried out by the RIS [a specialtechnical investigations unit of the state]to compare the traces of gunpowderfound on the helmets seized in Nicolashouse and the weapons lawfully owned byhis father found in the same house, theyshould be available in May.

As pointed out in previous updates, after afailed attempt at linking the traces ofgunpowder to the bullets used in the

wounding of Adinolfi, the prosecutors ofGenoa tried it again, this time for the sakeof 270bis, and clumsily envisaged animaginary shooting training undergone bythe investigated comrades, of coursewithout specifying where and when it tookplace (not to mention the fact that thehelmets were seized during raids withoutthe cops adopting any scientific criteria,as they touched the evidence with theirdirty hands, carried it in their cars and toplaces where the defenders of disordernormally play with gunpowder.)

A new investigation of the ROS [specialoperations unit]was also put on record. This concerns farther examinations on theprinters seized during the raids in theinvestigated comrades houses, with theaim of comparing them with the leaflets ofthe claim of the attack on Adinolfi: thistime the experts are compelled to admitthat the leaflets are not compatible witheither the ink or printing defaults of theprinters, thus contradicting an earlierforensic examination which referred to a

generic printing default very common to agreat numbers of printer brands availableon the market.

Comparative examination between DNAtraces found on the handles of thescooters allegedly used during the attackand the DNA of 5 people investigated andsearched in September, was also put onrecord by the RIS of Parma. As thiscomparison produced negative result, there came the nth attempt at investigat-ing Alfredo for a double explosive attack

on the RIS of Parma that took placeback in 2005 and was claimed by FAI/Cooperativa artigiana fuoco e affini. Itmust be said that the mixed traces of DNAfound on the wrapping of the device

    8/12

outside the headquarters of the scien-tists in 2005 were not reliable asevidence, as the cops themselvesadmitted adding that they had alsotouched the wrapping before carryingout examination. Nonetheless publicprosecutor Federico Manotti hasordered Alfredo be questioned on thematter on May 7 in the prison ofFerrara perhaps the prosecutor wants

to ask him for suggestions on how toaccuse him and for what charges.

In this case too the judge from Genoa iswielding article 280bis, even if it is clearthat this investigation attempt is theresult of random fishing out from a270bis file concerning a number ofinvestigated people (25 to 30, accord-ing to press releases), which refers tomany attacks claimed by various groupsof the Informal Anarchist Federationfrom 2003 onwards between Liguria,

Tuscany, Emilia Romagna and Lombardy. The media also said that the prosecu-tion of Genoa snatched the investiga-tion on the attacks on the RIS andCofferati from their colleagues fromBologna.

Beyond career rivalries and jealousiesbetween prosecutors and beyond thehistorical conflict between ROS andDIGOS [political police], the absoluteincongruity and contradictions displayedin the use of forensic examinations is

remarkable. This kind of examinationsare totally unreliable, to say the least;they are good to create media/accusa-tory suggestions rather than provesomething, as the script of the judgesand cops s dirty job always reads.

Nothing new under the sun: these arethe usual wretched cogs of a world thatmust be destroyed.

Briefing on control systems(A text from Italy)

From a first reading of the courtpapers more detailed technicalpoints emerge besides thetraditional control methods suchas shadowing, visual control, video monitoring of camerasplaced outside houses andworkplaces, use of bugs andsatellite signals in cars, phonetapping, internet monitoring, etc.

The new points are three, asalready said a few months ago:the request for authorization ofinstalling cameras inside houses(authorization that the investigat-ing judge refused to grant, allowing only audio monitoring),the use of laptop cameras asbugs which can be activated by aspecial software (in which casethe sneaks eavesdropping is notlive as happens with traditionalmicrophones) and the use of

battery powered environment bugswith built-in recorder to be placedin houses and neighbourhoods.

It is useful to bear in mind that oldand new control technologiesdont need sophisticated methodsor expensive equipment to bediscovered. Quite often thetechnicians who install themleave traces of their dirty visits, for example broken locks, dis-placed furniture and objects,

oddities in the internet connec-tion, background noises in thetelephone, shadowy individualsoutside the house, strangecustomers at the workplace, diligent escorts accompanyingyour trips out, etc. It is up to ourintelligence and love for life tofind the way of mocking them andprevent them from making ourlives heavier.

Lecce: Update on re-pression and anti-mili-tarist protests (Italy)

On April 19 2013 the appeal sentencewas pronounced at the court of Lecce, where some anarchists from Salento[Lecce] stood on trial. In 2010 thecomrades had been sentenced to oneyear imprisonment for resistance against

public official. They had been pressedthis charge because they had unfurledan anti-militarist banner during a publicconcert and had defended it from theDIGOS attempt at snatching it. Theappeal trial concluded with the acquittalof all the defendants. On April 11 2013 a group of anti-

militarists staged a protest in piazza SaintOronzo in Lecce, where various associa-tions were demonstrating in favour of twoItalian soldiers, Girone and Latorre. Thecomrades unfurled a banner, distributedleaflets and made speeches through amegaphone. On the occasion, the eventsthat led to the 2010 trial were alsomentioned.

On the previous day the comrades alsointervened during the European FilmFestival, and in particular during the talkentitled Relations between Puglia andIsrael, which hosted the representativefor culture of the Israeli embassy in Italy.Through a megaphone, a banner and

leaflets, the comrades expressed solidar-ity with the Palestinians oppressed byIsrael (it seems that no documentariesshown during the film festival took anyaccount of the existence of Palestinians). The comrades also reminded the audi-ence that in the village of Gagliano delCapo (Lecce) a made in Israel anti-migrants radar antenna is about to beinstalled (the antenna has been tested byIsrael in the Palestinians occupiedterritories and subsequently exported to

the rest of the world). In Puglia it issupposed to intercept small and bigboats of illegal migrants.

Three letters of advicefor saboteurs fromMarco Camenisch

Greetings and advice from MarcoCamenish to the compaerxs of chile inrelation to Mauris death.

    Dear compaerxs,

I implore you to send these greetings andthis simple but perhaps important advice tothe compas of Chile and everywhere else.Allow me to express the latter because Ihave experience, because even the mostexperienced guerrillas werent thinkingabout this, the trivial and banal means thatallow one to save their skin during thedangerous art of handling explosivepowders!

So on my part as well, from inside of Swissprison, I send a strong embrace ofsolidarity to our compaeras andcompaeros from Chile! Honor tocompaero Mauricio!!! What goes for ourwarriors who have fallen during combatgoes for those of us kidnapped by theenemy as well: those of us who continuefighting, the utmost solidarity we keep inlife, because our community is fighting. What is useless (except for the enemy) andtragic for the struggle is solely those who, when a compaerxdies fighting or falls

prisoner in the hands of the enemy, pointswith a hypocritical finger, murmuring ofuseless death, useless imprisonment, oftragedy, etc.

As a veteran combatant, it is with pain, butwith humility as well, that I reflect on thepossible causes of such an accident.Could it have been a short circuit (perhapsactivated by a timer) of an electricdetonator with a spark submerged directlyinto the black powder? Then there is asimple trick to avoid deaths, injury, andimprisonment. Well constructed, it does notimpede the success nor the timing (in theplace, in the delay) of the operation. Aslow burning fuse (or more than one, parallel, they are easy to make) shouldalways be inserted between the electricdetonator with the spark on one side andthe charge on the other, a fuse which inthe case of an early or accidental ignition, can be seen or heard during thetransportation and handling for activation;the same fuse has to be long enough tocount seconds or perhaps centimetersnecessary to place oneself in safety andpossibly, to extract or cut, disconnectingthe charge and therefore guaranteeing thesafety of eventual passer-bys- andobviously even more secure would be to

insert/introduce with only onemovement the fuse/fuses to thecharge only in the place of attackand later activate the timer for the

    electrical circuit.

    Urgent advisory from a veteran

saboteur to the anonymoussaboteurs of the August 2008

    post in Farellones, Chile.

In relation to the sabotage in

Chile, Aug. 12, 2008* (whichaccording to the press involvedan electric detonator), a veteransaboteur is obliged to offer thisvaluable assessment to every

saboteur of towers, antennas, andother similar instruments.

Urgent advisory from a veteransaboteur to the anonymoussaboteurs of the August 2008post in (Farellones) Chile and ingeneral to all individuals activelyengaged in sabotage around theworld!

Electric filaments and/or devicesand/or detonators and/orconnections and other elementson single or separate chargesshould not be used for posts, transformers, and other electricinstallations surrounded by anelectro-magnetic field, onlymechanical or chemical filamentshould be used and/or, ifnecessary a modern filament fortwo or more charges attached tothe same structure, or aconnection with blasting capsshould utilize a chemical ormechanical detonator/filament aswell.

All of this is necessary becausethe electro-magnetic field whichsurrounds the electric conductors/installations can easily chargethrough induction each electricelement and set off anuncontrollable explosion duringthe application/preparation of thedevice with tragic consequences

easy to imagine, as happened forexample to Feltrinelli in Italy or inone case in Austria when anelectric prong was applied to ahigh-tension power pylon resultingin an uncontrolled and premature

explosion and a grave mortal accident.By the same error of apprentice I had, also according to the experts of the actsin my penal summary/folder, a great dealof luck when I sabotaged a transformerand other targets on the perimeter of anelectric substation utilizing electronicdetonators and electric wire to connectthe separate charges as well as acommercial electronic device to detonate

    the charges.

    On derailments and stupidities

Letter from a veteran saboteur aboutthe case of Adrin in Mxico

This is a continuation of a valuabletechnical assessment written by aveteran saboteur. In relation to theAdrians detention* an analyst wrote: Toderail a train, a terrible idea. The mostprevalent account of the derailment wasprovided by the police. This versionfacilitated by the police and accepted byjournalists and analysts has littlecredibility and collapses in light of theinput by this veteran saboteur. Now, two

possibilities remain standing: anunsuspecting transportation of theartifact on the train or an action thatfailed in its intent.

It is obvious how purely propagandist anddefamatory the disinformationsurrounding Adrins case is, as well asthe fact that some canisters of butanegas did not even tickle a train or some

    tracks.

In order to even put a wrinkle in arailroad track (possibly capable of

causing a derailment) at least a fewhundred grams of high power explosive isneeded (in which the accompaniment ofgas makes no technical sense) and if wesay (the calculation will be anunderestimation) the cut side of a trackis 50 sq. cm, in order to shear it, thecalculation is easy (25 grams of militarygrade explosive per square cm), andwould take around 1.25 kilograms of highpower explosive.Later, if we take in to account, that forexample commercial dynamite is weaker

and that with black powder (which shouldbe carefully placed behind a container ofstable material, such as a thick plate, since inside of a simple bottle a flareup or shaking would not do a thing to a

    9

8mm rod) the amount has to bemultiplied six times in order to achievethe same effect and level of destruction, this would take at least 6 to 7 kilos ofblack powder, well the distortion of the

facts of the article is clear from here.

The hypotheses is that that was usedagainst the tracks (implicit in the case ofthe jokes about the derailment), itwould not deter traffic for even amoment. If the news of the smoke inthe train was true we would still befacing an explosion of clumsy andprecocious fabrication.

Furthermore, it is not casually that one ofthe rules of the urban guerrilla is toavoid as much as possible thetransportation of artifacts and/orexplosives aboard mass public transit dueto the potential grave danger to thoseunaware of the facts, danger which isalready sufficiently great with all other

methods of transportation in a populatedenvironment

Extracted Interview withAlfredo Bonanno:No political position ofcompromise had to beaccepted

This extract is from an interview carried outby a correspondent ofColumna Negra aftera gathering held in the city of Monza, Italyon the 24th-25th of November 2012. Thegathering discussed topics such as thesituation of the Mapuche in Chile, repressionin Europe, etc.

CN: Considering the scenarios of crisis atthe global scale, characterized by themassive de-legitimization of the traditionalpolitical models, the economic and socialdestabilization people are now living under in

Greece and Spain, etc, how can we under-stand the emergence of insurrectionarypractices that you laid out from the end ofthe 70s to the middle of the 90s, consider-ing the differences between the currentmoment and the context in which theseideas were developed?

AMB: It is true that there are considerabledifficulties for international capital in itsattempt to restructure its own repressive andproductive structure. This situation, whichhas been led up to for some years, comes

from the so-called crisis but does not referto crisis in the sense of radical contradictionwhich announces the passage of a situationwhich can evolve to become intolerable forthe future of capitalist management. There isnothing in these periodic sicknesses ofdomination which can lead in a determinantmanner to a possible irrecoverableandtherefore revolutionarysituation. For theseevents to begin to have some elements of arevolutionary sense (severe difficulties inrecuperation and control by internationalcapital) necessitates our active participation,

and it is here where true and real insurrec-tionary intervention is essential.

The experiences had during the 70s, up untilat the least the end of the 90s, demonstratethat projects of an insurrectionary nature such as attacks against those responsiblefor and structures of capital, sabotage ofproduction, abstention from politics andproduction, expropriation, re-appropriation ofones own time, etc can contribute tofertile terrain in which we can advancetoward the real and true insurrection,

whether it be the materialization of a seriesof attacks of amplified dimension that canhave as a result visible transformation(politically recuperated in the form ofmodified processes in the structure ofdomination), or less visible but stronger andmore effective transformations, that is to say

practical projects that contributeto formulations of what we havecalled the insurrectional project.

CN: According to various analy-ses, the current crisis appears tobe an expression of generalizedcatastrophe which is made visible, amongst other things, in the openabandonment of many the demo-cratic mask by many states as

well as in the open militarization ofrepression. In light of this, in whatmanner can the practices ofinsurrectionary anarchism contrib-ute to a resistance and generaliza-tion of the conditions of rupturewhich allow for the scenario of abudding manifestation of SocialWar on the part of the exploited?

AMB: Not any one generalcatastrophe, at least in myopinion. It is a matter of difficul-

ties, capital is experimenting on arepressive and productive level, including a few speculativefinancial processes which havebeen established and which havebeen shown to be completelyincapable of guaranteeing bettersecurity and better profits. Theunderlying structure of economicproduction remains relativelyoutside of the disasters provokedby speculation, and capital hastaken cover, proceeding to reduce

waste, reduce production costs, get rid of a few less promisingproductive social sectors andintends to do so successively. Forthis it has had to forcibly obtain agreater repressive policingcapacity, greater and moreefficient methods of control, andin a nutshell, to the extent ofmilitarily preparing itself for apossible transition phase of CivilWar.

What the current repressive andproductive project is trying todefinitively achieve is simply arestructuring at all levels toguarantee profits based on largeforeign investors and undisturbedexploitation, which has alwaysbeen the goal of these projects. Itis our task to intervene in theclash with the utmost determina-tion, to seek to combat thisprocess. The means we have atour disposal are the insurrection-

ary ones. Attack, the organiza-tional autonomy of the minimalbase structures, the informality ofthese organizational structures, the destruction of the enemy, andgeneralized self-organization.

CN: Another relevant factor that hasemerged during the recent past is theempowerment of the citizen which hasreinforced leftist positions which aremostly motivated by the increasingprecarity of their lives, as a defenseagainst large corporations helping torestrain the spread of antagonistic dynam-ics. In light of this, on one hand, what arethe possibilities that can open up fromanarchist practices to curb this civil

impetus? And, on the other, how do youbelieve that we can from the antagonistictrench, break out of the corner we havebeen put in by citizen-ism, and manage togo beyond locating ourselves to the leftof the left?

AMB: Any disguised form of change, ascitizenism can be, sooner or later showsits true colors and is unmasked by thefacts. It is due to indirect collaborationswith power by those who fear the worstthat is adapts to obtain a simple lengthen-

ing of the chain. Grand analyses are notneeded to indicate what must be doneagainst capitals brown-nosers. In place ofthis we need to commit ourselves to theattack possible with our forces, withoutseeking possible compromises withpolitical forces that do not belong to usand that today constitute capitals lastoffensive line, the one that is perhaps themost effective in recuperation. The insurrectional project identifiable ininformal base organization and thedestructive assault against every project

of repression undoubtedly needs someideas, more detailed information andknowledge that differ in relation to thedifferent geographical situations thatpresent themselves, but it cannot moveaway from its directive principles: attack, autonomy, informality, self-management.

CN: Understanding that the crux of theanarchist critique is the problem-atizing ofthe State, what do you believe are thepoints of questioning and work around ananti-state critique that favors the present

    deployment of anarchist practices?

AMB: Anarchists are obviously anti-state.The anarchist critique is directed at theannihilation of the State, although thepractice is not limited to waiting for theState to be in difficulty to go out to thestreet and fight concretely to give it thefinal shove.Anarchists are almost always present inintermediate struggles, or perhaps focusedon local problems that people have ingeographically determined places. These

struggles seek to reduce the repressionthat weighs against a small part of aplaces population, but it has greatimportance for all the exploited in generalif considered correctly focused from thepoint of view of the insurrectional methodand project.

Holdingdown some shit job, marrying and breeding, running to own your own house, consumerism, drinking beer and watching TVafter a day at work: this is the good life, thisis the normality that those who love Societycheck everyone else against. These citizenshate anybody who dares to shine brighterthan that and will do everything in theirpower to destroy the light-bringers. Becauseit is the Unique ones whose light makes theignorant aware that their own grovellingconformity is nothing but a shadow of life.

The overwhelming feature of Society issubmission to the systematic violence of therich, and the suppression of any individual orgroup of individuals who challenge theirorder. Its always been like this and it always

will remain so. The struggle of the individualagainst Society and the State is an eternalfight against the loss of historical memoryand human dignity. Its the struggle of theUnique against the existent.

I never forget that subversion is not justexplosion and wildfire: its the steadyconstant perversion of the dominant valuesand morals of those in control of my life.Like the crowds of people who deny myautonomy, my space and my liberty. Mostpeople are little more than robots that

willingly gave up their control over their lifewithout a struggle. l will attack their Societyand the State with my speech, written wordsand deeds.

My ideas will never perish, as they do notbelong to me. They return in everygeneration, in the few Unique ones who Ishare my nature with, like the stars in thenight sky which call forth life across theinfinite wastes. For me, anarchy is the blackvoid of nihilist chaos which appears as thesource of all creation and destruction.

Its not merely a method of economic andsocial reformism as preached by the civilanarchists like good Christians with the restof the socialists.

Cont. from front pageCN: The proposals of informal actionarise as a search for more direct formsof attack. Nevertheless, even during the90s with the Marini Case the Statehad carried out an identification ofinformal practices (whether throughframing or infiltration), leading to thecurrent trial against the FAI-FRI and theBombs Case in Chile. In light of this, and according to your experience, whatelements of the proposal and practices

    of informality should be revised?

AMB: The State has worked almosttwenty years in a precise manner (up toa point) to focus on the informal baseorganizations and the insurrectionalmethod. In fact, power does not havesufficient means to predict all theinformal initiatives due to the enormouscreative potential of the latter. When theattack is realized on the basis of infor-mal organizational characteristics, or ina way that is dispersed around territory,

free from any political contamination, directed to destroying small (and nottherefore less significant) targetsinother words, when we avoid centralizingon a sole target, or a few well visibleand qualified targets, [the action] cannotbe easily stopped.Attention must be placed on choosingthese targets, not letting ourselves beseduced by the extremely visible ones(the continued attacks which thecompaeros in Greece are carrying outagainst the countrys Parliament come

to mind) which are therefore moreprotected and in the end are of littleimportance. The study of targets corre-sponds to the knowledge of the territoryand also the analysis of the relation thatis occurring between local and interna-tional capital. Much of this knowledge isnow easy to find (just think of what canbe found on the Internet) but someothers are more difficult and require trulyprofound study.
