It was another strong day of competition in Aston, Pennsylvania. Some divisions saw a number of teams pull out in front while other age groups are still wide open for any team to take home the cup. Tomorrow, both the 1999 and 2000 divisions are set to begin the playoffs and with the possibility of overtimes and shootouts, the stage is set for some exciting games.

At 2003, Quebec and HockeyNow are at the top of the division with At 2003, Quebec and HockeyNow are at the top of the division with perfect 3-0 records. Quebec still looks like the team to beat though as HockeyNow barely squeaked by Maryland with a 2-1 win in the last game of the day. There are a number of good games scheduled for day three with Canada playing HockeyNow and Maryland and the Philadelphia Force playing HockeyNow and Quebec. Quebec, Canada and Flypuck have proved themselves to be the top Quebec, Canada and Flypuck have proved themselves to be the top teams in the ‘02 division. Quebec is a very strong team and has gone 3-0, but Canada is also undefeated and has a number of the leading scorers. At 5:15, the two teams are scheduled to play each other and it is sure to be a great game. Also make sure to watch for Flypuck, who continue to get better with each game they play.

There are a couple teams at the top of 2001 with the Maryland There are a couple teams at the top of 2001 with the Maryland Selects leading the way with a 3-0-1 record. Behind them is a very defensive Florida team. The Quebec Selects, HockeyNow and Canada are also very good teams. Don’t count out Los Angeles or Flypuck though as LA played a close game against Maryland and Flypuck only fell to Florida by one.

Quebec has the slight edge, as they are currently 4-0 against a number of hard teams while the Little Flyers have only played three games with a slightly easier schedule. Flypuck is also looking good and may be the only team that can beat Quebec.

The morning games before teams are seeded should be extremely competitive.
