CBB had the Right Synergy and Provided Financial ComfortWhen We Needed to Launch Our New Business
Melanie and Karl Burgi's first con-tact with CBB was in 2009 when
they were in the process of formingSynergy Metal Works LLC with LandisBrozak.
According to Melanie, “We looked atother banks and CBB came across asreally wanting to serve us. We wereunder a time constraint and theyworked with us to get the funding weneeded to get our manufacturing busi-ness up and operating."
"When we started the process," Melanienoted, "we worked hand-in-hand withDeb Lins who was always available tohelp educate us when needed. Wespoke with other loan officers as well, yet found it very helpful and assuringthat we were able to work so closelywith the Bank's President. It was easyto get them to call or e-mail even in theevenings. "
Melanie said that she likes workingwith Community Business Bankbecause the staff is knowledgeable, warm and educated. "CBB truly has acommunity feel. When you make aphone call, a real person answers, they
know you by name and theywork quick."

leg stroke and range ofmotion. It securelyholds the animal's leg, leaving both hands freeto use any type of tool.Animals have to move, and our chutes are agood marriage of saferestraint while stillallowing the cow's bodyto move. Our productsmake hoof trimmingsafer for the cow and theoperator."
Also located in Baraboo,Wisconsin, Synergy Metalworks providescustom metal fabrication services forother companies in addition to ComfortHoof Care.
“The need for good
hoof health has increased
in the last two decades.
The increased confinement
of dairy cows on concrete
has increased the need for
the cow's hoof to be in
