Mobility and Access (sidewalk conditions):Illustrative recommendations:
• conduct a sidewalk inventory and connectivity assessment to prioritize sidewalks and infrastructure in high-use areas
• prioritize sidewalk infrastructure upgrades in high-use areas that have the greatest amount of connectivity
• consider developing a general fund line item to install and maintain sidewalks within the city

Safe Stops Through SheridanRecently received funding through DRCOG program designed to support local planning and small infrastructure projects.
• Boomer Bond process identified deficiencies at existing bus stops and transit stations
• Community Development staff completed comprehensive inventory of bus stop amenities – noting informal improvements made by transit patrons.
• Project will upgrade 32 of the 39 bus stops to include, at a minimum, a bench and trash receptacle (almost all stops will also require concrete pad to support selected amenity combination)
