In 2007 NES commissioned external scoping study to explore Scottish dental education

In 2009 NES identified funding for a 3 year project which would:

• use existing academic staff expertise• provide additional clinical/academic & learning technology resources • provide pedagogical and technological support • initiate collaborative development of new digital resources
