The Development Review Committee (DRC) is asked to review and comment on the following repairs to the Sutter Creek Fire Department building at 16 Main Street.
The above photo shows the current appearance of the Sutter Creek Fire Department building at 16 Main Street.
The Fire Department recently pressure washed the building which alerted them to the need to replace the siding due to dry‐rotted areas. A building permit is required for this work.
Letters removed from the building during this repair project will be replaced.
They would like to replace the vertical siding with horizontal Hardi‐siding. The horizontal siding will blend with the siding on City Hall (left) and the Methodist Church (right).
Paint colors: White with green trim (same as City Hall (left) and Methodist Church (right).
The Fire Department would like add a façade “parapet wall” to the front of the building.
The Fire Department would like to replace the existing roll‐up door with a historic style “carriage” door.
Dominic Moreno, Sutter Creek Fire Department will be present to discuss the project and answer any questions.
