MEET ANNE DWYER

Assumption Church is so very pleased and blessed to welcome our new Choir organist and accompanist, Anne Dwyer to our parish family. Mrs. Dwyer obtained her B.A. in Music at University College, Dublin. Additionally, she holds piano diplomas from Trinity College, London and the Royal Irish Academy of Music. Anne has also participated in the Archdiocesan Organist Training Program offered by the Office of Liturgy, St. Joseph's Seminary, which helps musicians transition from keyboard to organ - no easy accomplishment! She is a private instructor for violin and piano and sings with the "Taghkanic Chorale". Mrs. Dwyer is in her sixth year as music teacher at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School and in her twelfth year at St. Columbanus School. Already some of our parish children, who are her students, are delighted to see - and hear- her playing in the loft at the 10:00 and Noon Masses each Sunday. She is a gift to Assumption Church!
