joining for the 2010-2011 school year

need to attend our first game (Dec. 3),

save their ticket stub (required) and

bring it to school. PEP CLUB members

will learn cheers, songs and how to

school hours and will be announced

Signs of winter are showing up. We’ve put the Outdoor Classroom to sleep, leaves and snow have fallen. Thanksgiving is behind us and it’s almost time for Chenoweth Basketball, Cheerleading, Quick Recall and Problem Solving Teams to start their regular seasons. We are especially proud of all the Chenoweth students who participated in our PTA Reflection’s contest. Several students will be receiving recognition at the District Awards Ceremony this month. We will announce their placement at the district level in our January newsletter. As we approach a New Year, Chenoweth’s PTA is looking forward and there’s still work to do. Our membership goal continues to seek 100% participation. If you know someone who hasn’t joined, invite them to make it their New Year’s resolution to sign-up. As always, we would love for everyone to be able to be active in the PTA, but just joining is a great way to show support for the students of Chenoweth.

5th graders raise Funds for

Chicago Trip our Fifth Graders will be takinga class fi eld trip to Chicago in May. To help with the cost, they will be selling 2011 Chick-Fil-a calenders for $6 each as a fundraiser. Each calendar has monthly coupons for FrEE items from Chick-Fil-a. These calendars make great little gifts for any friends or family members who love Chick-Fil-a.

Support Chenoweth’s PTAby Ordering Market Day

We don’t have a Market Day pick up date in December, but make sure you order before the Winter Break by returning your completed order form to Che-noweth OR order online by Wednesday, December 29 (11:00 pm CST). Pick-up your order at Chenoweth on Monday, January 3rd from 4:00 - 5:00 pm in the school cafeteria. EBT cards welcome!

PLUS, if we make our goal of $3000 in Market Day sales, Che-noweth will receive a $250 Borders Gift Card to help buy books for our school (in addition to our usual profi ts from the monthly sale).

and remember, February is all about cookie dough sales. We get additional profi t for every box of cookie dough that we sell.
