• On Access:

• Cloud PMS is easy to access and fits the busy lifestyle of Hotel owners and executives.

• Virtual management is a key advantage of cloud systems vs. legacy systems.

• On Implementation:

• On Training:

• Demos & videos are available online. Questions and queries about some features can also be done via live chat.

version”.On-line free trial is available to anyone. You get to understand the use of the system before hand.

System is a bit complicated and there is only a number of people allowed (budget) to be trained. More trainees mean additional cost.

Very easy system to use. Demos, Videos are available. Promotes self-training. We even asked our staff to train from the comforts of their home.

Work days required (exclusive of hardware implementation) for set-up and training is around 16-19 days.

Set-up is not more than 2 days, training is completed in 4 days.

Usability queries are not answered immediately (because you have to go to a process).

Trainees can ask the support staff anytime and get instant answers via live chat.

5. Support for cloud PMS is always live on-line.

• On Support:

• Cloud PMS like Hotelogix is better suited to provide live support and since the system is available to the support staff at all times, resolving issues and turn around time is instant.

6. Cloud based PMS are much better suited to get integrated to global on-line market places.

• On Distribution:

• No need for extra manpower to manage the various distribution channels. It is faster and cheaper through cloud PMS - many of them are built in.

Most come in the package and hotels get better integration with the online world at a much faster pace.

147. Cloud PMS is very flexible compared to legacy PMS.

• No Lock-in or Long-Term Contracts.
