OBJECTIVEy In this project operating of home appliances like lights

and water pump take place from office or any remote places. y If we forgot to switch off the lights or other appliances while going out,it helps you to turn off the appliance with your cellphone y Our cellphone works as the remote control for our home appliances.

Microcontroller(AT89C51)y The AT89C51 is a low-power, high-performance CMOS 8-bit microcomputer with 4Kbytes of Flash programmable and erasable read only memory (PEROM). y The deviceis manufactured using Atmels high-density nonvolatile memory technology and is compatible with the industry-standard MCS-51 instruction set and pinout. y The on-chip Flash allows the program memory to be reprogrammed in-system or by a conventional nonvolatile memory programmer. y By combining a versatile 8-bit CPU with Flash on a monolithic chip, the Atmel AT89C51 is a powerful microcomputer which provides a highly-flexible and costeffective solution to many embedded control applications

Voice recording and playback device(APR9600)y The APR9600 device offers true single-chip voice recording,non-volatile storage, and playback capability for 40 to 60 seconds. y The device supports both random and sequential access of multiple messages. y Sample rates are user-selectable, allowing designers to customize their design for unique quality and storage time needs. y Integrated output amplifier, microphone amplifier, and AGC circuits greatly simplify system design. y The device is ideal for use in portable voice recorders, toys, and many other consumer and industrial applications.

DTMF receiver(MT8870)y The MT-8870 is a DTMF Receiver that integrates both

band split filter and decoder functions into a single 18-pin DIP or SOIC package. y It is manufactured using CMOS process technology. y The MT-8870 offers low power consumption (35 mW max) and precise data handling.

Relay driver(ULN2003)y The ULN2003 is a monolithic high voltage and high current Darlington transistor arrays. y It consists of seven NPN Darlington pairs that features highvoltage outputs with common-cathode clamp diode for switching inductive loads. y The collector-current rating of a single Darlington pair is 500mA. y The Darlington pairs may be paralleled for higher current capability. y Applications include relay drivers, hammer drivers, lamp drivers, display drivers(LED gas discharge),line drivers, and logic buffers.

ULN2003

Regulator(6V)y Here is the elementary 6V 1A power supply circuit using 7806 IC. y The 7806 three-terminal positive voltage regulator is available in the TO-220/D-PAK package making them useful in a wide range of applications. y 7806 employs internal current limiting, thermal shut down and safe operating area protection, making it essentially indestructible. y If proper heat sinking is provided, it can deliver over 1 ampere output current.

Regulator(6V) Circuit

Single pole double throw (SPDT) switch(SA630)y The SA630 is a wideband RF switch fabricated in BiCMOS technology and incorporating on-chip CMOS/TTL compatible drivers. y Its primary function is to switch signals in the frequency range DC -1GHz from one 50W channel to another. y The switch is activated by a CMOS/TTL compatible signal applied to the enable channel 1 pin (ENCH1). y The extremely low current consumption makes the SA630 ideal for portable applications. y The excellent isolation and low loss makes this a suitable replacement for PIN diodes.

Dual in-line package (DIP)y Dual in-line package (DIP) switches are electronic packages that y y y y y y

consist of a series of tiny switches. DIP switches are used to configure computers and peripherals such as circuit boards and modems. Actuator choices for DIP switches include slide actuators, rocker actuators, and side actuated levers (piano). A slide actuator configuration can have raised or recessed slides. A rocker actuator configuration can have raised or recessed rockers. A side actuated lever configuration is typically called piano style, the "keys" are pressed down to actuate. The number of positions available is equivalent to the number of actuators on the DIP switch
