Biosensor • Defined as sensors that allow the measurement and

interretation of the biological response of activated sludge to a known disturbance ,which converters a biological response into an electrical signal ( detets , records and transmit information )

principle of opertion • Capacitive sensing based on

capacitive coupling can be utilized for cell studies with the use of CMOS sensors.

• The capacitance sensor uses the principle of charge sharing and translates sensed capacitance values to output voltages

• As a result, the measured capacitance depends on a variety of factors related to the cell, growth medium, and supporting substrate

To imrove sensitivity make sensor array

The device could be used as an immunosensor, with its sensitivity being enhanced by gold NPs.
