    Camp Tribe is a nonprofit that provides adventure, summer camps, family camps and educational programs emphasizing simplicity, the outdoors and living in a

    community.

    Our mission is to inspire people of all ages to learn, explore, grow, have fun, and be their best selves.

  • 4The Camp Tribe logo is the preferred mark to represent the camp. The logo should be used in strict adherence to the identity guidelines in this standards manual.

    When placed on top of the Tribe Green color, the curving font should be white.

    When placed on top of any other color, the curving font should be black.

    This is the only two color combination that should be used.

  • 5So that Camp Tribe can maintain the design integrity of its brand and maximize the logos effectiveness as an identifier, it is mandatory that the logo be applied as indicated in this manual without modification. The logos are not to be altered in any

    way. Shown below are some examples of UNACCEPTABLE uses of the logo.

    Never switch the colors around on the logo.

    Never use Camp Tribes logo in non Tribe colors.

    Never change the tagline typeface in the Camp Tribe logo.

    Never reproportion the Camp Tribe logo.

    Never add foreign shapes to the Camp Tribe logo.

    Never distort the Camp Tribe logo

  • 6The Camp Tribe Logo has an established safe zone. This safe zone is intended to maintain the logos integrity to avoid visual confusion. No other type of graphic

    elements (including folds, trims or edges) should fall within the safe zones shown.

    The safe zone for the Camp Tribe logo is equal to the size of the letter M in the logo.

    Safe zone spacing is uniform on all sides of the logo.

    The Camp Tribe visual identity consists of one font that complements the logo. GOTHAM is a typeface that is familiar and friendly, but refined and sophisticated

    when used well. type weight is desirable.

  • 8Color is one of the most important elements of the Camp Tribe identity standards.

    The colors on the right are the official colors for Camp Tribe.

    For print applications, specify a Pantone color or process equivalent.

    For computer-related use, refer to the RGB equivalent.

    Primary Identity Colors

    In addition to the primary colors of Tribe Yellow and Green, there are two secondary identity colors.

    Black is only used in the tagline of the logo when placed on top of white and the tent opening.

    White is only used in the tagline of the logo when placed on dark colors such as black and on the tent.

  • 9The Camp Tribe stationery makes use of the Camp Tribe logo and a few other components and is only used by staff of the camp.

    The Camp Tribe stationary prints in Tribe Yellow, Tribe Green, and Black on 70lb. text, offset, white, smooth stock.

    The Camp Tribe #10 business envelope prints in Tribe Yellow, Tribe Green, and Black on 24lb., white wove stock.

    The Camp Tribe business cards prints in Tribe Yellow, Tribe Green, Black, and White on Carolina, 10 point coated, double sided stock.

    The Camp Tribe Business Card can be customized by changing the employees name and position in the company. This is the only way the stationery should be customized.

    All Camp Tribe stationery items must be ordered through the Camp Print Shop and must adhere to the identity guidelines.

    Items produced for retail which bear the Camp Tribe logo, must be produced by an approved vendor holding a standard license.

    All items produced for retail must strictly adhere to the identity guidelines set forth in this manual, including restrictions on allowable color combinations.

    Full Color Retail Graphics

    If the fabric color matches one of the official colors exactly (Tribe Yellow or Tribe Green), the fabric can show through in place of printing that color. If the fabric color does not match any official color, all of the official colors plus white and black must be used to print the logo.

    When using the camp tribe logo on apparel, the art may print in all black or all white as long as there is sufficient contrast with the fabric color. These one color versions are a great cost saving alternative to the full color logo.
