Maxis posts RM503m Q4 profit

Maxis Bhd registered a net profit of RM503mil on revenue of RM2.2bil for the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, supported by an increase in total mobile subscriptions, postpaid average revenue per user (Arpu) and non-voice revenue.

Maxis declared an interim dividend of six sen and proposed a final dividend of three sen. The payout will amount to RM675mil in addition to the RM450mil paid in the third quarter, bringing total dividends for the financial year ended Dec 31 (FY09) to RM1.125bil.
