ASSEMBLY AND RELIGIOUS EDUCATIONAssemblies and Religious Education at Merryland are broad and inclusive, promoting knowledge of and respect for a range of beliefs.

ATTENDANCE AND PUNCTUALITY

Attending college on time is a basic but crucial factor for success. We work hard to achieve the highest possible attendance andpunctuality for all students and rely on total support from parents. Students who arrive late to college receive short same-daydetentions, which, along with our comprehensive rewards programme, reinforce the importance of good punctuality.

CONTACT WITH PARENTSSuccess at college depends on partnerships between students, parents and staff. We know parents care deeply about theirdaughters education and so strive to be responsive to their needs and views. Each student has a personal planner enablingclose contact between parents and college. During the college year there are a number of opportunities for parents to meetstaff, including consultation meetings to discuss individual progress. Parents are welcome to contact the college by telephoneor letters whenever they wish to arrange an appointment to meet with appropriate staff members.

CAREERS EDUCATION AND GUIDANCECareers Education and Guidance is delivered across all curriculum areas.

In this new century, WOMEN EMPOWERMENT has emerged as the biggest agenda for development in

the world, especially so in the Asian countries. INDIA has imbibed and integrated this movement, deep

into its roots, and has emerged as a leader in the world in embodiment of this novice program of

educating and thus empowering women.

Time and again, it has been displayed publicly, that the evils of this society like dowry, child marriage,

female infanticide, domestic abuse and violence are seen much more in those sections of society

which are lesser educated. It is therefore imperative that the girls, which are going to become the back

bone of the societies living social structure, must be educated at a good and higher level, so that they

are able to root these evils out of this world for ever. I f we can contribute to this, even to a small extent ,

we would consider to have succeeded in someway, for this noble cause.

There are a lot many girls, who wish to graduate, but due to their circumstances, either, the distance, or

time or both, do not allow them to attend the regular university classes. We are hereby putting a humble

effort to bring education at the doorsteps of such people at the time schedules of their conveniences, and

with an excellent faculty to back us up, we are sure they are going to benefi t immensely out of that.

To ensure the highest standards, we shall be delivering the education by teaching standards, which are

at par with the international ones, fully involving power of technology and technique.

Education is by far the most important scale to measure the progress of any civilization. History is evident

of the fact that the difference between the Developing and the Developed countries l ies only in

education, and so we have taken an initiative to uplift the education level in the society around us.

The Merryland Group,a Global Foundation for Education and Healthcare, was formed inthe year 2005. A

thought was raised to group together in a way to raise an organization, for the upliftment of the physical

and social health of the society, so as to reduce the sufferings, and to make each and every individual

around us, a better fit in the society.

We recognized health and education as two key sectors, where we required our efforts to be put, in

helping us deliver the goods right into the hands of people and enabling a better physical and social

health of the population, and thus finally of the nation as a whole.

An eye surgeon of Repute, with more than a decade of Surgical and Administrative experience, he guidesthe group through for its health related activities.

Dr. Sunanda Sharma Director- Charity Projects(M.B.B.S, M.S.)

Also an eye surgeon, with more than a decade of Surgical and Administrative experience, she is involvedin number of charity activities both in education and Medical field. She has proposed charity for Poor Girl

Students in Education as well.
