Level: Beginner

The TM1 End User course is designed to introduce the

user to the front end TM1 application. The course

instructs users on those aspects of the application to enable the front end user to become proficient with

utilizing the Cube Viewer, Subset Editor and the Excel

Reporting functions. Particular consideration is paid on

the various methods for inputting data and cube view

customization.

While many users may end with this class, the TM1 End

User class provides a needed foundation for all future

courses and advanced users.

Upon completion, the user will be able to:

Define the structure of TM1

Modify and save cube views and dimension subsets.

Input data, in particular using data spreads.

Create TM1 reports in Excel.

Utilize TM1 Web.

Duration: 1 Day Level: Advanced

The relationship between Excel reports and TM1 is a key

component to a successful application deployment, and

its flexibility over time. Upon completion of this training, the attendee will utilize the fundamentals of TM1 Excel

report construction as well as best practices for design

and distribution. The course is hands-on, and each user

will be able to demonstrate the acquired skills through

numerous demonstrations and examples.

Completion of this course enables a users to take the

presentation of TM1 data to the next level through the

integration with Excel.


Create advanced reports in Excel using TM1 cube

data.

Utilize Picklists & Globals cubes to create user

customized reports.

Create rolling input templates for budgeting, planning

and forecasting.

Utilize MDX functions in Active Forms.

Integrate existing Excel functionality to minimize

future maintenance.

TM1 Administrator training prepares the user with the

procedures required to appropriately monitor, manage

and maintain the TM1 Environment. Users are introduced to several methods for creating the

structural aspects of TM1, including dimensions, aliases

and formatting. and cube construction. The course

progresses through the data files, backup and recovery

procedures, and security.


Create and maintain TM1 dimension structure,

including element hierarchies and attributes.

Build a cube and utilize a processing worksheet to

load data into the cube.

Modify the configuration and initialization files to

customize users’ TM1 access.

Implement and maintain TM1 Security

TM1 Experience

Duration: 1 Day Level: Intermediate

The TM1 Rules course provides the foundation needed

for an advanced user to script rules in TM1. By

beginning with a very basic rule, progressing to more complex rules, then integrating practical applications,

this hands on course provides the fundamentals to

build dynamic and effective rules.


Identify and define the structure of Rules.

Create rules to perform intra-cube and inter-cube

references.

Define Skipchecks and Feeders and incorporate them

into rule statements.

Write rule statements to perform advanced functions

and calculations.

TM1 Experience

TM1 Turbo Integrator is an application within TM1 which

enables the user to automate many of the TM1 functions,

including dimension building, creating cubes and data loading. The TM1 Turbo Integrator course begins with a

very basic process and advances through to more

advanced processes which require script writing.


Define a Turbo Integrator Process and Chore

Utilize the GUI interface to perform basic processes.

Integrate scripting to perform advanced processes.

Create a Drill Through.
